Finally a home~ Private

Joshua hugged her tightly, kissing her head. "All that matters is that we're ok. Don't cry. We'll be going back to the house to get our stuff. I doubt the fire got that bad. So, first we'll get a room at a hotel and we'll go back home in tomorrow." he said, thinking they had enough drama.

"Home?" She asked, looking up at her. "I don't want to go home."

"Agh, then we'll stay at a hotel for the rest of our honeymoon, ok?" Joshua said, sighing. He wondered why she wouldn't want to go back home after a fire just broke out. He sighed, having to text his friend about the fire. Obviously he freaked out, but would pay for the damages since it wasn't that severe. "Let's go." he said, grabbing her hand and walking out of the hospital, getting a taxi.

She held onto him, still a little shaken from the fire. "Is your friend upset with us? Because of the fire?"

"No, he always did think the fireplace was a bit messed up. Anyways, I offered to pay half, so, yeah." Joshua explained, rubbing her back and getting in the cab after her, telling the driver to take them to a good hotel. He had gotten dressed of course, but he would have to go back and get their luggage. That was the thing that survived amongst many other things.

"When are you going to get our stuff?" she asked, staying close to him. She didnt want to be without him, not tonight.

"Once you get into bed and are comfortable." Joshua said softly, kissing her head. "I'm sure our stuff is fine, hopefully." he chuckled weakly.

Marley shook her head. "I want you to stay with me." she mumbled.

"Baby, I gotta get our stuff from there. You know that..." Joshua said, hugging her tightly. As they arrived at a pretty good hotel, he got out after paying the tab and his wife had followed. Going in and getting a room, he sighed with relief. At least he kept his wallet with him.

Marley went straight to the bathroom, shutting and locking the door. She threw up and sat on the bathroom floor for a while before getting up and washing her face and mouth. She had stayed in the bathroom for a long time before finally coming out.

Joshua sighed as he heard Marley puking. Pregnancy wasn't clean, that was for sure. Sitting down on the bed, he watched the door, waiting on her. Once she came out, he smiled weakly. "You ok? Just rest here." he said, patting the bed.

Marley made it slowly to the bed and laid down. "Will you hold me please?" she asked.

Joshua nodded, sighing and cuddling her once up on the bed fully. "Are you ok?" he asked, nuzzling her neck. Was she really so flustered?

She nodded. "Yes. I was just realy scared."

"I know. But we're fine. That's all that matters. Ugh..I guess since you're still flustered, I'll stay. I'll go check in the morning." Joshua muttered, nuzzling her neck and kissing it softly.

She shook her head. "No. I need my stuff from the house." she said softly. She needed some new clothes for reasons she didn't want to admit.

Joshua raised a brow. "You need it? Agh, well, then I'll leave now, ok? Just stay in bed and watch TV." he said, getting up and grabbing a keycard.

She nodded. "Call me when you're leaving so I know when you get home." she said, watching him.

"Yeah, I will." Joshua said, winking as he left the room. Going into a taxi after catching one, he instead sent a text. They had to save their minutes for now. Getting to their now burnt but still standing cabin, he went inside, goind under the police tape and seeing that at least the upper floor was fine. Just covered with black from the smoke. He saw their luggage, seeing that the outside, like the zipper, was a bit melted, but still with use. Grabbing it, he went back into the cab, urging the driver to drive to the hotel quickly.

Marley waited for him but ended up falling asleep quickly.

Joshua soon came in, quietly though the luggage made a loud thud as it was placed down. He smiled, seeing that Marley was asleep, but peaceful. Getting into bed, he wrapped an arm around her waist and kissing her cheek. "I'm back.." he whispered softly.

She smiled, waking up but not moving. "How's the cabin?" she asked.

"Eh, it's still standing, but it's extra crispy." Joshua snickered at his own joke. "You?" he asked, rubbing her baby belly.

She nodded. "I'm good..." she mumbled. "I need to change my clothes though. They're dirty and smell like smoke."

"Do it tomorrow. You're tired." Joshua mumbled, not bothering himself either.
