Finally a home~ Private

Joshua smiled and nodded. "Yeah, but for now, I'll spend the night. Tonight's my night off anyway." he said, sitting in the chair once more and yawning. Eleanor was out for the count apparently. "So, any room in particular that you'd like for the bedroom? It's not that big, but I'm sure we can make due."

"It's only the two of us." She said, shrugging, taking his hand with her broken one. Nothing hurt right now, the pain meds were doing their job so she was a little... happier than usual. "We can always look at it once I'm better."

Joshua stared in shock at Marley's hand, the broken one. "Uh..." he said, staring even more. The meds must've been very strong...."Should you be holding my hand with a broken wrist?" he asked, going pale.

"I don't feel anything..." She said looking at him. "Why can't I? I can hold your hand if I want..."

"Yeah while on meds." Joshua said, chuckling weakly. "Uh, anyways....You're feeling a lot better, right?" he asked, smiling.

Marley nodded slowly. "Yeah. I feel great." she said softly. "How do you feel?"

Joshua sighed. "Better, but I'm still worried for you.." he said, looking down.

"I'm fine." She said. "I'm in a hospital. This is the place to feel good if you're feeling bad. Duh!"

"Oh you're definitely better if you're talking like this." Joshua laughed, kissing Marley's forehead. "So, any news from the doctor while I was gone?" he asked.

"Nope." she said, poping her p. "I must be amazing because I haven't heard aaaa thing!" She said

Joshua chuckled. She really gave in to the meds. Still, after a few weeks, she would be back at home and hopefully in better conditions.

She laughed and then stettled agingst the pillows again. "Wow... I feel so high right now..."

((Hm...what if during the time that she heals, Joshua loses his uh...sexual attraction for Marley? Cause he was so used to seeing her in pain and her being so fragile that it scared him out of it? o.o))

((Eh, probably to a few months skip. After all, with an accident like hers, it's bound to take time to heal.))

((Alright. uhm... like 6 months or so? Like, her knees still really bad but everything else is pretty much okay?))

((Yeah, gotcha. I guess I'll start it off.))

After six months, Marley had healed exceptionally well. Joshua was glad that they didn't let it stop them from moving into the apartment and have a good life. Still, after so long of not making love, he lost interest. Not that he didn't have desire, but just not as big as a libido that he had before. Getting home from work early, he went into their bedroom after waving hello to Marley on the couch then plopping onto their bed. "Oh god, my whole body aches.."

((They're like, 19 now right??))

Marley got up and slowly made her way to their room. She had a brace on her knee that kept her from bending it. She had to take it off once a day and do her bending exercises but, she usually waited until after he got home to do those. She sat down on the bed and rubbed his back gently. "I'm sorry... I, I started class today." she said, smiling.

((Yesh, I believe so))

Joshua groaned, looking up from the pillow. "Really? How was it?" he asked, slowly sitting up and stretching. With the brace and all, he pretty much didn't desire Marley as much intimately. Just romantically, and that wasn't going so bad. He kissed her softly, yawning. "I should've kissed you before heading in here." he chuckled weakly.

Marley was gaining mobility and that meant she was feeling a little better with her sexuality. She wanted Joshua intimately. She didn't want to have sex just yet, but maybe some touching and teasing. She shrugged gently and rubbed his thigh. "That's alright. As long as you kissed me now. But today... it was hard. Not the drawing... that was easy, drawing's always easy, but, they made me walk. the class is upstairs and there's no elevator. The only spot was a up about a flight of stairs and there's no exit upstairs." she smiled. "I hate stairs."

Most of the time, which was practically a lot, Joshua felt too tired and exhausted to even think of sex. He only felt a slight bit of Marley's petting. "Aw my poor baby." he chuckled, rubbing her cheek with his hand and smiling. "Don't worry, I'm sure that your brace will be taken off in a few months and you'll do ok. So, anything else new?" he asked, pushing away the thoughts of her hand being on his thigh.

"My professer really liked my drawings. He said I could go far." She said, smiling, leaning over to kiss his neck.

Joshua grunted, laying back down. "Baby, I'm not in the mood right now.." he mumbled quietly, closing his eyes and sighing.

She pulled back and looked at him, a little disapointed. "That's what you said last week."

"I know but...I just am too tired and sore....With that brace on, I'm going to end more work anyway." Joshua said, pressing his face into the pillow.
