Ruby knew what it was like to have to worry about whether or not she would be able to pay for college next year. Sighing softly and brushing some hair out of her eyes she looked over at Dawson with a small smile. "At least I'm not the only one." She really, really liked Dawson. Looking down she finished her dinner and then picked up her plate and brought it to the sink. Leaning against the counter she looked over at Dawson with a soft smile.

Dawson smiled back and came over and gently lifted her chin and caressed her lips with his.

She watched him get up and was about to playfully splash some of the dish water on him when he cupped her chin in his hand and kissed her. Her eyes widened before closing and she sighed gently. Their first kiss. The first of many to come, in fact. Pulling away she blushed softly and looked gently into his eyes. She was speechless, but in a good way.

Dawson looked at her with his usual gentle eyes. He really liked her.

She sighed gently and then glanced over at the clock. It was around 6:00 and while she knew that it was starting to get kind of late to be having a boy around the house, she decided not to tell him to leave. Her parents were away at Cape Cod trying to recreate the romance between them with a second honeymoon and her younger sister was spending the night at a friend's house. Why not enjoy her time with Dawson?

Dawson could be anywhere he wanted he was old enough.

She shyly entangled a few strands of her red hair around her fingers, looking down at her bare feet. "Do you want to watch a movie?" she asked, looking up at him with reddened cheeks. "I can pop some popcorn or maybe set up a dessert if you want." It was a Friday. She wanted to spend more time with Dawson. There was nothing wrong with that.

Sure" he said gently. He wanted to spend time with her.

She smiled and happily wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest. "Thanks. Otherwise I would have been all alone for the rest of the night." she whispered softly. Pulling away she went over to the cabinet to grab one of the bags of popcorn. Putting it into the microwave she then went with him to pick out a movie. It would probably be like the night before, where she would be more content simply cuddling with him.

Dawson was falling in love with her fast. He knew he was. He never felt so happy and content in his life.

The popcorn was soon ready and the young couple agreed on a lighthearted comedy to watch while cuddling up on the couch. After putting in the DVD Ruby yawned and laid back on the couch with Dawson, resting her head on his shoulder. The movie began and while it was very funny her mind wasn't really on the TV. It was more on the beautiful blonde boy beside her.

Dawson was trying to keep his mind on the movie though he was finding it hard. He really just wanted to focus on her.

As the movie progressed a tired sigh passed from Ruby's lips. It was getting late out, though she wasn't feeling tired. She was instead feeling rather cozy. Dawson's arms were wrapped around her and she realized that their bodies were much closer than they had been before. Yawning gently she nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck and pressed her lips to the pale of his neck.

Dawson smiled and held her closer to him. " Do you want me to stay the night?" he asked gently. He could stay like this forever. He kissed her neck back.

She breathed in and nodded her head, her curls tickeling his neck. "Mhm." Ruby answered softly, looking up at him with shy eyes. When he kissed her neck she closed her eyes and sighed gently, her heart beating a little bit faster underneath her breast. This was so much better than Heaven ever could be. Perhaps this was an exageration, but at that moment she was at her happiest.

He was happy being with her. he kissed her neck once more a little more deeply.

A harsher cry passed her lips from before. The movie was ignored, the only reminent of it being the faint sounds emiting from the TV. Her mind was far from the silly comedy she had put in. Her hands gently moved up his back and pressed into him, bringing him closer to her. His waist pressed against her own and she sighed, her head going back.

Dawson leaned into her kissing down her neck slowly enjoying the taste of her skin

An excited sigh passed from her lips and she breathed in deeply. "Oooh..." The soft cry passed from her lips. It felt so good to be close to another person like this. To be close to Dawson like this. "Oh, Dawson, hunny..." she murmured softly, burying her face against the pillow on the couch. Her body gently moved underneath his, gently rubbing him.

Dawson groaned kissing her neck more and closed his eyes. His heart was pounding and his groin was starting to harden.

She had never been close to anyone like this. It felt so good to be close to Dawson, to feel his body on top of her own. The weight of a man, the texture of his lithe body covering over her own. "Mmm...!" she cried deeply, rubbing on him once more. She could feel him against her thigh, hardening gently. "Ohh, hunny..." she cried once more, kissing him deeply.

Dawson ran his fingers through her hair gently and kissed her passionatly. He never felt so strongly for anyone like this. She was special and ...he loved her. He knew he did. He rubbed against her moaning agqinst her lips.

She could feel his fingers entangled in her curly red hair just as well as she could feel his warm body against her own. Her hands moved down his back, admiring the feel of his body. It felt so good. As he rubbed back at her a cry of delight passed her lips and she eagerly moved her hips with his. It was amazing how the afternoon had changed to a boring lonely one to an exciting, passionate night.

Even though things were very passionate Dawson was extremely gentle

She opened her eyes to look at him and blushed gently. Even though he was being gentle with her he was still very passionate. No boy had ever looked at her with such eyes before; It made her feel very light and at peace. She was sharing such an important step in her own emotional growth with Dawson. "Dawson," she thought to herself, kissing him and frenching him.
