Lizzy took a dew deep breaths before asking in a composed voice, "Who's this?" He did look familiar. Yet, she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

"Why are you here?" Lizzy asked. Why did he look so familiar? Blonde curly hair. Blue eyes. Just like someone else she knew...

"And how did he become one of us?" Lizzy asked. "Who changed him and why? Why he on the verge of death? Was there any reason for it?" Lizzy didn't believe in changing a person into a vampire unless it was something that was necessary and could not be avoided.

Melody took a deep breath and sighed. "I changed him, Mother." she answered softly. "I changed him so that he could be with his family." And me. She thought sadly.

Lizzy sighed softly. "I see." she said. "And why did you choose Melody to change you?" she asked, though she already knew the answer. She wanted to hear him say it.

Lizzy nodded her head. "Very well." She knew what it was like to marry someone not because you loved them, but because you didn't want to be alone. Lizzy was happy that Melody was able to find happiness with a boy. Even though it was admittingly a little too early for them to be mates already.

True. And yet, she still couldn't help but be a little disturbed by it. It felt like only yesterday Melody had been bor and now she had a mate. How in the world did that happen so quickly?

More importantly what would he and Melody do when melody went back home? Mates couldn't be away from long periods of time without going into depression.

That did present something of a problem. What would Melody and Seth do? They couldn't just live together. They both had parents and families. But they couldn't be apart for long.

Melody honestly doubted that her mother would agree with letting them live together. She was in a junior in high school. They couldn't live together due to their familes, but they wouldn't be able to support one another if they left their family.

Well, maybe not like dogs in heat. They still had some dignity. And they weren't werewolves or anything like that. Though, admittedly, it would still be hard. They were teenagers who were really only just realizing their hormones.

Melody looked back at him with a soft smile, and gently held his hand, brining it to her lips to kiss his knuckles. They would think of something. Neither of their parents would be so cruel to keep them apart for so long.
