She wasn't getting pregnant! She wasn't ovulating. It was no where close to being one of her fertile days. Honestly, it was annoying when men thought that they knew best about when a woman could get pregnant.

One of the Vlads could go over to his house to pick up some clothes for him. His family already knew the situation. They would understand.

Seth looked at the leader. " Oh no no you ddon't have to" he said embarassed that the leader would do such a thing!

"I could do it for you." Melody offered, though honestly that probably wouldn't be better. Having his mate rooting through his underwear drawer and what not. Though she wasn't really thinkinh about that.

That would be kinda awkward but then agian the Leader would stay and protect them. As long as Darrick was in this house no werewolf dared bother them.

Melody smiled softly at him. "I don't mind." she said, gently kissing his cheek. "I'll be back soon." she said, and then left the house to pick up his clothes. She tried her best to ignore her grandfather's teasing.

Melody went to his house, and after explaining her purpose, went to Seth's room to collect his clothes. She noticed a pretty girl in her twenties, who looked at least twenty four years old.

"Please take care of my nephew." she said softly, and then hugged her goodbye. "My brother and sister in law, too."

"I promise." Melody said, and then left to go to Seth and give him his clothes.

Just some normal clothes. Faded jeans, t-shirts, a few button down shirts. And that jacket that her grandfather had so kindly brought up her talking about that one time. Reaching the house, she opened the door and walked in.

Of course she did. His scent was already tempting enough without him going commando underneath his pants. Gently handing him the box, she shrugged sheepishly, looking down at her feet.

Seth smiled," Thank you" He kissed his mate's cheek. He wanted to shower and be with his mate.

"Y-you're welcome." she said softly, blushing gently and brushing some of her hair out of her eyes. Melody looked up and smiled at him when he kissed her cheek, and then nuzzled him when she was sure no one was looking.

"I love you, too." she whispered happily, gently kissing his cheek. She then let him go off to shower, and went to grab a book to read while she waited for him.

Seth took his shower and got dressed. He felt alot better. Not sweaty and grimy. " Ahhh" He said happy and content. He walked out of the shower.

" You know your mother will know he's your mate." darrick said gently to Melody.

Melody flushed deeply and placed her book down. "Darn it." She had really been hoping that he hadn't known it. Sighing, she shook her head. "I know." she said softly.

When two vampires made love it was like signing a marriage license even though he was human at the time he was turned into a vampire after thus he was hers till the end of time.

Melody looked up when Seth came down the stairs, showered and dressed. She smiled and went to greet him with a small kiss on the cheek.

"How are you feeling?" she asked softly. She was worried if he was still hurting from his transformation. She wouldn't be able to forgive herself.
