A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.1

He just smiled at her, leaning closer.

She leaned away, her eyes wide and suspicious. "Ed, what do you want?"

((So, here's my idea. I think that Ed should kiss her and before Ilane gets a chance to pull away, Nick see's them. he thinks she's cheating on him and Ed doesn't fess up... just, the average drama you'd find in soap operas. lol))

[Yeah, sure! XD]

Nick had finally gotten near the pack, the large deer in his mouth. He saw Ilane and wagged his tail; it stopped mid-swing when he saw his eldest brother kiss her. He growled, dropping the deer at his feet.

((Did nick run away or is he still standing there, watching them?))

((Nick's watching them))

Ilane pulled away, but the way she pulled away might look as if she was pulling away slowly, like she liked the kiss. She was only in shock and it one was closer, they'd see it.

Nick growled and ran towards them, tackling his brother back and pinning him to the ground, snapping his jaws. 'What the hell are you doing!?'

Ed blinked. "I was just giving her a kiss, calm down.'

Nick growled angrily and turned to Ilane, glaring at her, hurt and angry.

Ilane shook her head. "Nick, I didn't kiss back. I didn't even want him to kiss me.... There's nothing going on... Nick, please listen to me. It was a... a rape kiss. An unwated kiss."


((lol. Rape kiss... I crack myself up.))

Nick bared his teeth. 'If it really were a rape kiss -whatever the hell that even is- you wouldn't have pulled back so slowly,' he growled.

((I know! lol. I thought it was funny, I HAD put it))


She started to cry. "I was shocked... I, I didn't know what else to do."

'Why not try pushing him away or slapping him,' Nick suggested sourly. 'And you,' he turned back to his brother, pissed as all get-out. 'You know she's my mate! Why would you do that to me,' he demanded.

"It's my pack, Phoenix. I can do whatever I want," he snapped back.

Nick howled, it sounded angry, and full of pain of betrayal.

Ilane ran a hand through nick's fur. "Nick... I love you. I would never do anything betray you. You know that." She said softly.

'Do I,' Nick asked bitterly, stepping away from her.

[Sorry if I'm playing him too... whiny. I know that gets annoying >> Just tell me if I am, kay? ^^;]

"You should!" she said.

He sighed and pushed her against the tree with his nose, sniffing her. She didn't smell like Ed, she smelt like him. He looked at her curiously, looking into her eyes. 'Tell me the truth,' he said calmly. He truly was calm now, despite being furious with his brother still.

She looked at him, running her hand through his fur. "I love you. Only you." She said, hoping he'd believe her.

He saw her true feelings in her eyes and nuzzled her cheek with his nose gently. 'I'm sorry I doubted you. Stay here and close your eyes,' he said, turning to his brother, growling fiercely.

She nodded, bringing her knees to her chest and burring her face in her knees. "Don't do anything you'll regret." she said to nick softly.

Ed shifted into his wolf form, growling back at his younger brother. 'Are you really wanting to kill me, brother?'

'Why don't you wait and see,' he asked and lunged himself forward at his brother. The two fought, oblivious to everything around them. It seemed an even fight.

Soon, Al ran over in his wolf form and tor the two apart with some help from some other pack members. 'what the HELL is wrong with you two?!' he snarled.

Nick growled, trying to break away to get back at Ed. 'He kissed her! He tried to steal Ilane,' he snapped, struggling harder.

Ed stayed back, not denying it. He didn't say anything, just stared at his youngest brother.

'Ilane, hold him back.' Al said and Ilane got up, sitting next to nick and wrapping her arms around him in a hug like she used to do when he was her pet.

Al turned to Ed and sighed. 'Our parents made it law that you can't try to steal away another pack member's mate. Do our laws mean nothing to you?'

Nick quit struggling, but still growled at his older brother, putting one of his paws forward, behind Ilane, as if to hold her there protectively.

Ed growled. 'This is our pack, we can do whatever we want. Our parents are dead.'

Al growled furiously and took a step toward his older brother. 'But their legacy and their laws live on through us!' he snapped.

Ed snorted. 'You can think that all you want. I don't have to believe that,' he growled back.
