Kat smiled. "Its been good. I've been waiting for you to get home so I could have you all to myself... So, I got busy cleaning..."

He chuckled softly. "I'm glad you had a good day," he smiled at her lovingly. "What are our movies for tonight, love?"

Kat smiled. "Sleeping Beauty, The Princess Bride, and I figured I'd let you choose a couple."

He smiled and shook his head. "This is your night, love. You pick the movies. I'm only here to make sure you're happy."

Kat smiled. "I'll be happy if you pick a movie. Preferably one with Adam Sandler..."

"One with Adam Sandler... Click? No, that's not disney..." he thought a moment. "Is there a Disney movie with Sandler in it?"

"Yes love. Its this fantastic movie about a man and he reads fairytales to life. I do believe the title is Bedtime Stories."

"Oh. Forgot about that one," he laughed. "It looked good. We can watch that one, too," he smiled.

Kat smiled turning on the dvd player. "Yay!" She laughed and leaned against him, her head on his shoulder as the first movie started.

He smiled and wrapped his arm around her happily, kissing her cheek.

Kat blushed, kissing his cheek. She felt so young again. She liked that feeling a lot.

He smiled and nuzzled her cheek. He loved seeing that sparkle in her eye.

She missed the simplicity of life. It was easier before she got pregnant.

Deryk held her, leaning his cheek on her head as they watched the movie.

Kat smiled, curling up on the couch next to him. She liked being able to do nothing but watch movies with him. God, Deryk worked himself so hard...

Not meaning to, Deryk ended up falling asleep near the end of the movie.

Kat watched him sleep and smiled softly, pulling over the blanket from the other side of the couch. She stood, checking the meat and switched movies before returning to her spot in his arms, pulling the blanket over both of them as the movie started.

Deryk blinked awake as she sat back down in his arms. "I'm up," he yawned.

Kat chuckled, kissing him softly. "If you fall asleep, I'm not going to be mad at you. I completely understand where you're coming from okay?"

He sighed softly. "But this is your night... I'm supposed to be all yours, not all... asleep."

"And if you fall asleep because you're working so hard, I'm not going to be mad... I want you to be rested, so well rested love..."

"But I promised you that this was your night. Not my night to fall asleep. That can be tomorrow night." He hugged her close. "I just want to make sure you're happy. That you know I love you and I'm not turning into a workaholic."

Kat smiled, sighing. She wouldn't argue. She would let him win, because then she would win. And she liked winning. "As you wish love..."

He kissed her softly. "What's the next movie, love?"

Kat smiled gently. "The Princess Bride. One of my favorite fairy tales..."
