Kat chuckled, sitting up. "How about now?"

"If I try really hard, I might be able to get up and make it to bed," he chuckled.

Kat smiled, taking his hands and pulling him up into her arms. "Any better?"

He chuckled and kissed her softly. "Yes," he grinned and got up, picking her up bridal style and carrying her to bed.

Kat laughed, closing her eyes in his arms. When he set her down she was already half-asleep, her breath becoming more even by each passing moment.

He kissed her softly as he pulled the covers up over her. "I love you, Kitty," he whispered and took his shirt off before crawling into bed next to her and wrapping his arms around her.

Kat smiled gently, moving closer to him. "I love you too..."

He smiled and held her, yawning as he closed his eyes. "Sweet dreams, love," he murmured.

Kat smiled, gently speaking. "G'nigh..." She fell asleep, her breathing soft and gentle.

He smiled and nuzzled her gently before slipping off to sleep.

Kat slept until she heard Deryk's alarm clock going off, the bliss from last night coming to an abrupt halt...

Deryk yawned and slammed the button down, laying in bed for an extra minute before sighing and making himself get up out of bed. He kissed Kat's forhead after he got up and fixed the blankets so she'd stay warm and comfortable before he went to get his shower.

Kat smiled when she heard him hit the button on his alarm clock and lay there for a few moments. "Mmm, come home sooner so I can cook for you, yeah?" She turned onto her back, watching him leave the room.

He smiled softly. "I'll see what I can do," he promised and kissed her lips softly. "Get some more sleep, love. I'll see you after work."

Kat sighed, nodding. "I will try my best..."

He smiled at her softly and finished getting ready for work, then kissed her forehead once more before he left.

Kat smiled and kissed him gently before he left. She felt like italian tonight, so she'd make lasanga...

Deryk worked his tail off at work, but left an a normal time so he'd get home around the time she'd start making dinner. He wasn't nearly as tired tonight.

Kat started cooking about 5:30, her lasagna never taking more than an hour and a half. She washed her hands, the food cookin in the oven.

Deryk walked in to the smell of lasanga. "Ohh, baby, that smells good," he smiled and walked up to Kat to kiss her. "Need any help, babe?"

Kat smiled, kissing back. "It's baking right now. Nothing to do right now..."

He smiled and took her in his arms, swinging her around. "Nothing? I bet I can take care of that," he said cheerfully, clearly in an excellent mood.

Kat laughed, gripping to him tightly as he spun her around. "My, ar you excited! Had a good day?"

"Yes. And I'm happy to be home," he kissed her happily. "I love you."

Kat smiled warmly, kissing him back. "I'm happy you're home too... And I love you very much as well."
