"Alright," he sat up and kissed her softly, standing and helping her up, walking to their bedroom and crawling into bed.

Kat smiled, sliding in beneath the covers with Deryk. She kissed his cheek, facing him as she laid down on her side.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.

Kat smiled, curling up in his arms. "Goodnight babe..."

"Goodnight, love," he whispered and kissed her forehead softly. "Sweet dreams," he yawned and closed his eyes.

Kat smiled warmly, moving closer. "Goodnight."

He smiled, holding her as he fell asleep.

Kat fell asleep smiling, sleeping well through most of the night.

Deryk got up with his alarm and slammed the button, groaning tiredly. He sighed, sitting up and kissing Kat's forehead before getting in the shower to get ready for work.

Kat smiled and curled up into the fetal position, pulling the blankets down tight around her as she continued to sleep.

Deryk finished getting ready and kissed Kat's forehead again, leaving her a note on his pillow before he left for work.

Good morning, Kitty <3

Sorry I had to go to work so early. I'm all yours tonight, I promise.
I love you so much. Have a good day, baby!

Kat woke up a few hours later, seeing the note. She smiled immediately, reading over Deryk's scratchy handwriting. "Tonight. Yes, you will be all mine tonight.." She smiled and went to make breakfast for herself, figuring what movies they'd watch later that night.

Deryk worked hard. He'd gotten there an hour earlier than he was supposed to be there and clocked in, working immediately. He'd even gotten there before his boss, who blinked in surprise to see he'd already gotten a project and a half done within one hour.

Kat did relatively little that day, forgetting about school completely as she'd woken up too late anyways. So, instead she went to the store and restocked the fridge and freezer. She couldn't wait to be able to have Deryk all to herself.

Deryk came home at the time he'd told Kat he'd be home, and looked a little worn out as he walked in the door. "Kitty, I'm home," he called.

Kat came out from the small laundry room, having just put in the last of things needing to be washed. "Hey! Oh, baby! You look exhausted! How'd you make it home?" She took his hand, pulling him to sit down with her on the couch.

"I drove," he chuckled, sitting on the couch with her.

Kat rolled her eyes, but kissed him softly anyways. "I'm just glad you're home... I figured I'd make steak and baked potato for you, since you've been working so hard."

"My favorite," he smiled. "You don't have to do that, baby. Just make whatever you feel like eating," he kissed her softly.

Kat smiled. "Well, I wanted it too, so either way. You get steak."

He chuckled. "Thank you, love," he kissed her softly.

Kat smiled, turning on the tv. "Not a problem babe. I've been hungry since about noon. Cleaned so much while you were gone."

"Then let me help make dinner," he said, getting up and walking to the kitchen.

Kat smiled, nodding. "Of course you can."

He smiled and kissed her softly. "Sounds like you've been hard at work, too. How was your day, love," he asked, getting out the bowl for the mashed potatoes.
