It's a Love Story

He chuckled and watched the movie eating the pizza with her.

She leaned against him comfortably as she ate and watched the movie with him, happy as a little clam.

roman sat on her bed with her phone in her hand, hoping that Pavo would call her or something. She wanted to apologize for last night.

Pavo had slept in late. When he woke up, he yawned and sat up, looking at his phone. No call from Roman. He decided to call her instead, hoping she was alright.

Roman jumped as her phone rang and she smiled when it was Pavo's number. She let it ring a few times before answering it. She didn't want to seem eager. "Hello?" she answered.

"Roman? Are you alright," he asked. "Your father seemed very upset last night."

"It's okay." she said softly. "Him and my mom had their first fight and they've been together for like, 20 years. It was bad. But everything's okay now. I am sorry you had to see that though."

He shook his head. "Do not worry about me," he told her gently. "I just want you to be alright."

"I am alright." she smiled.

"What is the plan for next time we see each other," he asked her. "I would like to see you again, Roman," he told her softly.

"I'd like that, too." she said, smiling. "Where do you want to go?"

"What is your favorite place," he asked. He wanted to know her more.

Her favorite place was quickly becomming anywhere he was. "The place I showed you last night." she said softly. "Or the river."

"You choose," he smiled softly.

"Have you been to the river yet?" she asked.

"I've not," he told her, pulling some pants on.

"Then come pick me up and I'll take you." she smiled.

He chuckled. "Let me take a shower and I'll be on my way," he promised.

"Alright." she smiled. "I'll be ready."

"I'll be there, soon, Roman," he promised and hung the phone up, going to take a quick shower.

Roman smiled and got dressed in a simple teeshirt and jeans. She told her paretns she was going out with Pavo then waited in the living room.

Pavo was there within half an hour and met her at the door. "Good morning," he smiled.

She smiled at him. "good morning."

He held out his hand. "Shall we go?"

She nodded, taking his hand and walking with him after closing the house door.
