It's a Love Story

She nodded, smiling. "My mother-in-law makes it from her own herbs. But don't tell her I add a little bit of honney." She winked.

Ren smiled. 'I won't say a word," she promised and finished sipping the tea. By the time she was done, she was ready for a good, long nap.

Lilli smiled, standing. "Sleep as long as you need." She said softly, kissing ren's forehead.

"Thank you," she told her and laid down, almost immediately falling asleep.

Lilli smiled, walking out of the bed room and going back to hers, seeing Mike standing by the window watching Pavo and Roman. She knew that he didn't hear her so she silently went up behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Hey, stop being a peeping tom towards our daughter.

"I'm making sure he's not peeping," Mike frowned, holding his wife close.

"He wont." she smiled. "I'm sure."

"He's a senior. She's a sophmore," he pouted.

She frowned at him. "You're not going to allow her to see him, are you?" she said softly.

"He's too old," he murmured. "I don't like it..."

"Older by about 4 years. That's not that much now a-days..." she said, letting go of him.

"It is for high school."

"That's it?" she asked. "It's that he's to old?"

"And he's italian. You know they're all for romance and dating multiple people."

"Romance, yes, not dating other people." she said, sitting on their bed, she could feel a fight comming.

"How do you know he doesn't want to get in her pants," he asked, being an overprotective dad like he was. "He could easily take advantage of her."

"I think you're underestimating our daughter." she said, crossing her arms.

"I'm not underestimating anyone, I'm trying to explain why I don't trust that guy. He's too old for her. you hear those stories where there's a senior guy and he has sex with a younger girl and he dumps her. I don't want her to get hurt," he tried to explain to her.

"And what if she's able to find true love with this boy?" she asked softly. "My father didn't allow me to see you. He kicked me out when I was pregnant... What if I had listened to him? what if he had been more controlling? We wouldn't have the family we have now."

Mike had no argument for that. "I'm not saying they can't see each other. I just don't want them alone..."

"Alright... She wont like that." she sighed.

"I'll feel better once she's older, or at least until I know this guy," he said.

"Then get to know him." she sighed, shaking her head and walking out of the room.

He blinked after her. "What's wrong with you," he asked, following his wife.
