There were a few other appointments after this but they seemed so trivial to her then. Her wedding was going to be the social event of the season and she knew that she had the people of the town at her feet; they would do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted it. Jenny walked into the familiar apartment flat and then turned to look at Danny as he walked in behind her. She smiled softly and then removed her coat before hanging it on the coat rack. It was going to be harder when she was married, having to share a bed with Reginald. The whole time she would be thinking about Danny. Walking to him, she pressed her lips to his.

Jenny felt that even if she were to have to share a marriage bed with Reginald she would still always be marked as Danny's lover. The bond between the two of them was not just one built of lust; she was in love with him. As she was lead over to his bed, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to be laid down upon the soft mattress.

Between the tension and the bed sheets Danny never felt the emotional and physcial passion before in his life. He wanted her in his life and only her. It broke her heart when she walked into her house only to be quickly fussed over and then forced to shower and be primped within an inch of her life. Jenny made a stunning bride, though she wore such a bittersweet, sad smile that ruined the image of the ideal, blushing bride. After the night she had shared with Danny she didn't know how she was going to walk down the isle to Reginald.

He had already promised her that he would go; If he didn't not only would it be the most cowardly thing that he had ever done, but it would seriously hurt Jenny's feelings. What else would she be able to think but that he had only promised to go to get her in bed one last time? As the minutes ticked on by, she sat alone in a small room in the church, following the tradition of not seeing the groom until the wedding began.

Aganst his desire to not see her marry another man he did show up. He sneaked around looking for her room.

She gasped hearing a knock on her door and got up, wondering what else her mother could have possibly wanted right then. Answering the door she was surprised to see Danny, but quickly ushered him into the room. "You came." she murmured, smiling for the first time that day. "I'm so happy." she hugged him and kissed him gently, not caring if it smudged her make up or ruffeled her dress.

" of course" he murered gently. " You look really pale and sickish. I mean your color. You look great in your dress..." he said.

She offered him a weak smile and then sat down one an apholstered stool and sighed. "While, I haven't exactly been relishing today..." How could she have? She was marrying another man and all she could think about was Danny. What kind of wife was she? How would she treet her childrenw tih Reginald? Would they even be his? What would it be like to father Danny's children without even knowing it? What would that do to Danny?

Danny sighed softly and stroked her cheek with his finger tips. " I mean you look sick. Like you've been throwing up or have a bad flu or something"

She closed her eyes as he caressed her cheek and sighed. Admittedly she had been a little sick that morning but she hadn't really thought much of it before. Now that she had babies on the mind, however, she was starting to wonder. What if she were pregnant right then? What if she was with Danny's child? If she were to marry Reginald, then he was going to raise the child and would think it his own. And he would want even more children. How would Danny react seeing her heavily pregnant with another man's kids?

Danny sighed, " I wish you weren't going to marry him..." he murmered. " Just run away with me"

She was quiet for a few minutes, her breathing gentle. Danny hold told her that his dream had been to leave this city and to find a wife to marry. Not too long ago he had also told her that he loved her. Somehow she had known that deep down he had wanted her to be his wife. She opened her eyes and nodded her head softly. "Yes," she whispered, nodding her head once more. "I will." she whispered.

" Really?" he said his heart skipping a beat. " We will have to hurry and pack up everything and take the next train" he said

She nodded her head, smiling softly. "Yes, I mean it." Jenny murmured, gently kissing him. When he mentioned that they would need to pack, she mentioned that she already had a trundle packed for her honeymoon. "It has enough clothes to last me for two months." Which was how long her honeymoon had been schedueled to be.
