Jenny nodded her head and looked at herself in the mirror one more time before removing her veil. Within an hour it was revealed to the church that the bride had fled the scene. Many were devastated (most notably the brides mother) and surprised by the rash behavior. But Jenny didn't care. She was far away with the man she loved.

By this time, Danny had her on a train and they were leaving the lives that branded them.

When Jenny boarded the train and sat with her back to the window she never once turned to look back. Some people might have found a small bit of nostalgia in them and the need to turn back and look at the town where their family and past lived, but Jenny didn't. New York City had never been her true home, if her southern drawl hadn't given it away, and she had never fully accepted it into her heart.

He sat beside her " So we have to deside where we should live. " He said gently./

"It is your dream to leave New York City. Where have you always wanted to live, Danny?" she asked softly, looking over at him curiously. Now that they were leaving behind their problems, she wanted to know more about Danny's dream. "We can live there and I know that in the end things will work out fine for the both of us."

" We lived there already l.ets go somewhere else." he said

Jenny nodded her head. She knew that they couldn't stay in New York, it wasn't as if she wasn't known in those parts. Her wedding was to have been the social event of the season and by now it was probably known by many that she had jilted Reginald and left him at the alter. They both needed a new place where they could start over together. They had to leave the city.

" Lets go to Florida." He suggested/

"Florida?" Jenny asked, surprised. "Why in the world there?" She assumed that he wanted to help accomadate her since she had spent most of her life in the south, but it still did not explain why he specifically chose Florida. Jenny hadn't really been there before, though she had heard that it was supposed to have very nice weather. She bit her lip. "Does it snow there?"

" No. It doesn't snow" he said

Jenny was quiet for a few minutes, not sure of what to say. While in South Carolina she hadn't really had any snowy Christmases (though they had been very cold) she had come to enjoy the snowy holiday in New York. In the past three years she had grown accustomed to snow and even loved it. "I would like to have a white Christmas, for when we start a family together eventually..."

"ok" he sais gently/

"I think that it snows a lot in Massachusets." she suggested, looking up at him thoughtfully. For the most part Massachusets was woodsy and Jenny felt that it would be a nice change of pace from the city that they had been forced to accept and get used to. "What do you think of that?" It was far away, but not so far away that they would need to spend a lot of money to get there.

" That sounds good to me" he nodded his head.

After a very long and tiring trip on the train they soon found themselves in Massachusets. It still seemed such a surprise to her that they had run away like they had. "For right now we'll need to rent a hotel room." she murmured softly, though she was sure he already knew. Eventually they would probably move on to an apartment, which wasn't much better, though it was much more permanent.

" I know" He said. " Until we can find a more perminate place."

When they had purchased a feasible hotel room for the night Jenny finally allowed herself to relax. Sinking back on to the soft mattress, she closed her eyes and sighed contently. She didn't know what it was about long train rides that just sucked the energy out of a person. Either way, she was sure that stress was also involved.

He went to take a shower and relax with hotwater.

After a few minutes Jenny got up from the bed and quietly snuck into the bathroom. Stripping out of her stiff traveling clothes she got into the shower with him, shyly joining him under the hot water. "Hello," she whispered, reaching for the wash cloth and shyly brushing it across his chest, as if she wasn't already his lover.

" Hello to you too" he said gently and kissed her neck.

She blushed softly and closed her eyes, breathing in. It was interesting to see that being tired seemed to apparently also get Danny in the mood. Opening her eyes she looked at him softly and then pressed her lips to his. That day had been very emotional for the both of them and they needed some time for just the two of them.

He was deffinatly in the mood. And he didn't waste it either. They spent a good portion of the night making love.

A few weeks later they had finally been able to hunt down a cozy apartment that they could afford. Jenny's condition had worsened somehwat during the weeks and after visiting the doctor she learned somehting that had surprised her quite a lot. She had still yet to tell Danny of her little secret, though every now and then she could be seen just laying back with her hands on his stomach, thinking about the future.

Danny was trying to adjust to the simple civilian life. He was a salesman at a car lot. He made alot more money and was doing fine in the job department.
