Chris smiled and continued to eat his pancakes.

"What's the plan later," Jess asked.

Kade answered. "I'm staying here with Gideon. The others are going out on a hunt. Once they come back, Lucan and I will escort Beth back so she can grab whatever she wants to keep."

"We can hang out in the library. Or the pool," Lilli smiled. "Which sounds more fun," she asked Chris.

"The pool!", Chris said excitedly

Beth chuckled, "I don't think they'll have swim trunks your size though."

"But Aunty Bethy!!!!" Chris pouted.

Kade chuckled. "Just wear your underwear, kiddo. They can be washed and dried quickly," he assured the boy.

"I suppose you're right, Kade." she chuckled, "Alright, pool it is."

"Yay," Lilli smiled.

When the others got back from the hunt Beth started to get ready to go back to her apartment and grab her things.

Kade stayed by Beth, watching her every move like a hawk.

She stayed by Chris and the breedmates, as they played with him in the pool.

Kade snuck behind Beth and brought her into his arms while the others were playing with each other. He kissed her cheek softly. "Having fun," he asked.

"Yeah I am." she smiled nuzzling against the side of his face.

He kissed her lips softly, holding her close in the water.

She smiled blushing happily.

He smiled and caressed her cheek, his fingertips lingering on her jawline lovingly.

She smiled and kissed him softly enjoying the moment they had together.

Kade kissed her tenderly and lovingly, until he was pulled away by Dante.

"What the hell, man," Kade growled. Dante's only answer was shoving him under the water and holding him there.

"What....What are you doing!?!?" she screamed at him trying to get him to let go of Kade.

Kade growled under the water and kicked Dante in the head, making him let go. Kade surfaced, coughing up water and standing in front of Beth protectively.

"What the f*ck, Dante," he growled. "Jess is recovering."

"She was pregnant, bastard," Dante punched him in the jaw.

Beth gasped and caught Kade as best she could after the blow. "STOP IT! DO YOU THINK SHE WANTS YOU TO BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF SOMEONE!!?!??!" she screamed at him.

"You think she wanted to lose the baby we've been trying for, for a hundred years," he bellowed back at her. "Do you know how hard it is to wait for the right conditions for a child for our kind? Now she'll have to wait another hundred years for a child," he spat.

"WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE AT HER SIDE COMFORTING HER. She didn't tell me she was pregnant at all. If I known, I wouldn't have her do anything."

"I did. She's sleeping now," he growled.

"You wanna fight, Dante? Fine, let's fight," Kade growled and attacked him. Both were blurs to the human eye, moving around the pool room with blinding speed as they fought.

Bethany grabbed Chris and pulled him out of the way so he didn't get caught in the middle. "STOP IT!!!!"

Rio growled and pulled the two apart, shoving them into opposite walls of each other. "You think you should be fighting in front of Breedmates and a kid," he snapped. "Stop it or I swear to god, I'll go get Lucan and he'll put you both out in the sun."

"Kade, let's just go, we're supposed to get my things today." she said looking at the both of them worriedly as if they were about to go at it again.
