Trace and Me Only!

"Mhm!" he said putting the cup down.

"Did you want more," he asked, ready to put some in there if he did.

Chris just nodded holding out his cup to him.

Kade put some more in his cup and put the pitcher down as the oven beeped. "Don't drink all of it at once. You won't have much room for the pizza," he chuckled, taking it out of the oven and putting it on the stove to cool off a bit.

Chris nodded waiting patiently setting his cup down so he wasn't tempted to drink it all.

Once he figured the pizza was cooled down enough for the kid, he put a couple slices on a plate and handed it to him. "Here you go, kiddo," he said.

"Thank you." he said his little legs dangling off the table and swinging a little as he ate.

Kade chuckled. "You're welcome," he said and made a plate for Beth, for whenever she joined them.

Beth made her way to the room that they were in, careful not to get lost, she still wasn't sure about the place.

Kade smiled at her as she came in. "I do like that dress," he told her with a chuckle, offering her the plate he'd made for her.

She chuckled and smiled, "Well thank you." and sat down taking a bite of pizza.

He smiled and nodded, watching her sit down. Dante came in and told Kade to meet him in the training room - pronto. Kade nodded, looking serious. "You two stay in here and eat. Go strait to my quarters when you're done," he told them and kissed his mate's forehead softly. "I'll meet you there later." He left for the training room. Dante was the only one in there, of course.

"What did you do to her," he growled. "Why is my mate passed out in our bed!?"

"She revived the kid for Beth. I had nothing to do with it."

"The hell you didn't! If you hadn't been following that woman around like some stalker, the Rogues wouldn't have found them," he yelled. "It's your fault her family's dead."

Bethany waited untill Chris was done with his pizza, then washed the dishes, and took him back up to Kade's room. Not really sure where Chris should go for the night.

"I was trying to make her happy," Kade murmured, frowning.

"Look how well that worked out," Dante growled. "Now my mate's trying to fix your mistake. Fix it your damn self, man," he growled, pinning him to the wall forcefully.

"I'll be right back, alright? I'm going to go check on Kade." she said and tucked him in bed, "You stay here alright. Don't go anywhere."

"Okay Aunty Bethy."

Bethany walked out of the room and made her way back to the place they ate, wondering if she'd find Kade around there.

Lilli was cleaning the kitchen from the pizza, stealing a slice or two. She smiled up at Beth and hugged her tight. "I'm so glad you're alright," she said softly.

"Thank you." she smiled and hugged her back.

"I heard your nephew was revived," she said softly. "I don't know if Dante will let Jess wear herself out again to try to revive your sister,' she said sadly. "I know he's furious with Kade."

She nodded quietly "Chris is just a little boy...his mom is older...and I'm sure..her being....gone longer...would make it even more difficult to revive her..." she sat down, "I love my sister...but...she would have gladdly given up her life for Chris so he could have a future....it sounded like...the rogues convinced her if she gave up her blood..they'd let Chris go free...and she agreed to that." she said with tears in her eyes.

"Oh, honey," Lilli hugged her tight.

"i don't know how I'm going to tell him..." she sighed sadly hugging her back. "He was such a momma's boy..."

"One of the boys could trance him so he thinks your his mom," she said softly. "If that might make it easier..."

"No...he should remember his mother..." she said quietly.

"Tell him that his mom died in her sleep or something," Lilli told her gently. "That she didn't feel any pain. He won't know any different."

"But he saw....everything." she said sadly.
