A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.3

Ilane saw them and grabbed the blanket off her shoulder, running to them with her arms open. "Is she okay?"

"She needs to be warmed up," he said gently, taking her inside. He handed her to her mom, shifting into his wolf form - his body temperature was higher then, and curled up so Ilane and Bri could be surrounded by his heat.

Ilane had sat down by the fire, holding Brianna close with the blanket wrapped around her. She rubbed her arms and legs, trying to get some body heat into her daughter.

Nick wrapped himself around Ilane and Bri, looking over them protectively and worriedly. Briana's heart was still beating, but it was slower than normal.

Ilane kissed Bri's lips, trying to get them to a normal color. "Come on baby... open your eyes for mommy..." she begged.

After about an hour of getting her body temperature back up to normal, Bri whined and turned towards her mom. "I'm cold," she mumbled. Nick sighed in relief and nuzzled her.

Ilane sighed and Nick did and held her little girl tighter. "I know... Just stay close, we're trying to warm you up."

"Did I win," she asked, shivering.

She nuzzled her daughter, putting her warm cheek on hers. "Yes, my sweet, you won." she whispered.

"Kay," she smiled and hugged her mom, not feeling as cold as she was when she woke up.

Nick smiled softly and nuzzled them both.

"Just don't go so far away next time." she said softly. "don't scare me like that."

"I won't, Mommy. I was scawed. It was cold."

You're safe and warm now, sweetheart, Nick told her gently, nuzzling her.

Ilane only held her daughter closer. "It's okay. Are you hungry?"

She nodded. "Can I hab somefing wawm?"

She nodded, standing and putting Bri with Nick. "I'll get you something."

Nick nuzzled Bri, who hugged his muzzle.

Ilane smiled, getting Bri some food and then going back, sitting with Nick's tail in her lap. "Come here baby girl. Here's some food for you."

Bri crawled into her mom's lap, pulling her dad's tail over her like a blanket and started eating hungrily.

Ilane rubbed Bir's shoulders, kissing her chek. "Are you feeling okay?"

Bri nodded. "I'm okay now, Mommy," she smiled, swallowing her last bite. "All bettew."

she smiled. "good. I didn't want to loose my baby girl."

Briana smiled, shaking her head. "You don't lose me, Mommy. I won't hide so faw away. I pwomise."

She smiled and nodded, holding her baby closer. "Good."

Bri smiled happily. "When do I get a baby bwodew ow sistew," she asked excitedly.

"Soon. A few months." she said. "Once my stomach get's bigger, you'll have to help me and daddy a little more. Are you able to do that?"
