A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.3

She sighed and nuzzled him. "Do you blame yourself?" she asked.

For not getting to you fast enough, he nodded and nuzzled her.

She sighed. "Maybe I was in the way." she suggested, cuddling closer to him.

He curled tighter around her, nuzzling her. I wasn't close enough to protect you...

Her eyes slowly started to tear up. "What were we doing? Why was I in the way and why weren't you there?" she asked.

Her hands curled into fists in his fur as she started to remember that moment when the rocks fell onto her. She whimpered slightly, clinging tightly to him.

He shifted into his human form and wrapped his arms around her. "It's alright," he murmured. "It's all over," he soothed her, holding her close.

she clung to him, crying softly into his shoulder. "That's the first thing I remember and it's horrible..." she mumbled.

He held her tight without hurting her. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart..."

Sam held onto him, crying into his shoulder.

He held her, stroking her back gently.

Luckily, the bad moment was broken when she started to calm down a little and her stomach growled. she giggled slightly, sighing and rubbing her stomach.

He chuckled softly. "Hungry, are we? Let's get you something to eat," he smiled softly at her.

She nodded, getting off of him. "Once we're done can we sit like we were sitting?" she asked. "I have more questions."

"Of course," he smiled and kissed her, taking her hand. "There's some moose left over from earlier. Let's grab some of that," he smiled.

she nodded, looking down at their hands together, then looked at his face. "This is weird... It's like I'm falling in love all over... Or, do I always get a tingle when you touch me?"

He smiled and kissed her forehead. "I'm not sure if you always get a tingle. You never tell me," he chuckled softly.

"I'm going to start telling you everything. If I loose my memory again, I'd like for someone to be able to sell me who I am." she said.

He chuckled softly. "Alright, love," he nuzzled her. They arrived where the food was stored and he got her some moose. "Here you are," he smiled, handing some to her.

She took it. "What about the kids? do they eat whenever they get up?" she asked.

"They should be getting up here pretty shortly. They'll meet us here."

Nodding, she sat down and started eating.

Izzy whimpered and started crying, waking Conall up. He rubbed his eyes and yawned, picking her up and nuding Kale. "Breakfast time," he said.

Kale moaned, slowly opening her eyes. "What time is it?" she yawned, sitting up.
