Jack walked downstairs and smiled " All clean"

Becca raised a brow at this statement and thought back to Jack's not so clean comment to her before. Tucking some of her long brown hair behind her ear she offered him a small smile. "Breakfast is ready," she murmured, gesturing over to the table which had been prepared for Jack by his mother. Today both of his parents would be away for most of the day because they would be supervising Christine while she as at her dress rehearsal for her latest ballet recital.

" YUm I'm starving" he sat down " Want some?" he asked.

Becca smiled at him, "Only a little bit." she answered, walking over to his seat at the kitchen table. She had brought a small stool with her and sat beside him, looking down at his plate of food. When they had been younger they'd used to fight over who would get the strawberries on the pancake or who would get the banannas in the cereal. It had always beem fun for them.

Jack cut the pancake and gave half to her and let her have half the strawberries.

Becca watched as he cut the pancake in half and placed it on a paper plate before her. She grinned and reached for one of the strabwerries with a fork and happily ate it. "Don't give me too much," she laughed, watching as he placed strawberries after strawberries on her plate. "You're a growing boy and need your food much more than I do!"

He desided to make another insided joke, " You're just worried I won't be big enough" Let her take that anyway she wanted. He loved teasing her as much as she loved teasing him.

The soft sound of a fork hitting the plate could be heard as she gasped and looked over at him with wide eyes. She had been raising her fork to her mouth to have a bite of pancake when he made a lude and open ended joke. Goodness gracious! What was he trying to do to her and her innocent mind! "E-eh..." she muttered, her mouth dry. How was she supposed to respond to that?!

Jack laughed his butt off. He put his head in his arms on the table. He gasped to breath a few times and he looked up at her smiling his goofy wolfish smile.

Becca glared at him and shook her head. Why did he like to tease her with such jokes? When they had simply been friends their jokes seemed much more innocent. Was it because those kind of things happened between couples? Sex-things? A soft sigh passed her lips and she rested her head on his shoulder. "Please don't turn into a mega perv." she whispered softly.

" you know I'm only joking." he nuzzled her affectionatly. " I don't mean it." He kissed her cheek.

Becca laughed softly and kissed him softly on the lips before pulling away and looking into his beautiful green eyes. "I know, Jack." she murmured, her cheeks flushed a very soft pink. While Becca had gone out with a couple of boys, she was not a horny school girl. Her love for Jack was every bit as innocent and pure as if she were a little girl; Jack was her first love.

Jack knew she knew he loved her. He was just a typical teenaged boy sometimes. He kissed her cheek gently.

"It's the first day of Spring today," she smiled. "I think that we should take advantage of it and go to the park, or maybe the beach." She knew that Jack wasn't much of an indoors kind of guy. Neither of them were. As kids they had enjoyed playing outside in his backyard, pretending that they were the prince and princess of a faraway kindgom. Of course now that they were older they didn't do this anymore. Much.

Becca clapped her hands happily and got up from the stool. Picking it up she went to put it back into it's proper place in the living room. The park wasn't too far from his house; It was walking distance actually. "It should be a lot of fun! And then we can walk down to that new deli for some lunch." They lived in a smallish "urban" area. It wasn't exactly a city nor was it rural nor suburban. It was just a place.

Becca laughed and then took his hand and led him out the front door. "Time's a'wasting." she muttered, looking at him with amused brown eyes. She wanted to have fun and enjoy her time with him on the beautiful Sunday morning. It would be a nice day between the two of them. They would have fun and basically enjoy one another's comapny. What could be better?

Jack didn't even get to finish his bacon. He looked at the table and ran back and grabbed it and ran to her " Ok we can go" he said eating the bacon.

Becca laughed and apologized for having taken Jack away from his precious bacon. As they walked out of the house and down the stone pavement, she enjoyed the warmth of the sunlight upon them. "So, are you going to be my prince again today?" Becca asked, looking over at him with a raised brow. Old habit died hard. "Hmm?" she asked again, smiling as they reached the park.

"But not funny business, Prince." Becca warned him, although nothing about her was in the least bit threatening. As they reached the park she looked around admiringly and then looked over at the small jungle gym that they had spent so many hours on as children. Both that and the woods had always been their little kingdom; the piece of the world that belonged only to the two of them.

"Well, after this morning I don't have much of a choice but to put you on probation. I can't have you pinning me up against the slide and doing unspeakable things in an area that little kids play in." Becca smiled at him knowingly and then let go of his hand to walk towards the jungle gym that they were both so used to. Every now and then it would be repainted and have some little add ons to it, but it would still always be their jungle gym.
