"Don't you sometimes wish that it could be?" Robyn asked him. She was accustomed to hearing phrases like "The things were having in life need to be faught for," and "If you don't have to work for it, then it isn't worth having," but sometimes she still wished that she had the chance to be able to get something that she wanted easier.

" Of course I do. But I would rather work for it than have it handed to me on a silver platter. If I worked for it I would charish it more than persay I was given it." he explained. " When you work hard to get a certain ammount of money to buy those new pair of shoes, you take better care of them then say your mom or dad gave them to you." he explained. " At least thats what I always thought. correct me if I'm wrong."

She knew that he was right but couldn't help but be annoyed. Robyn was not angry with him but angry with the realization that the things that she would want the most would never come to her easily. For whatever it was that she wanted, she would have to work hard and put her all into it. This wasn't something that was the most fun to think about.

Propping herself up on one of her elbows, she looked down at his peaceful form. He was so beautiful. From the small window in the middle of the room, she could see that it was very dark. Eventually she would need to move the curtains to cover it. Looking back at Bryan, she closed her eyes and pressed her lips to his.

A soft laugh passed from her lips and she continued to kiss him. As she pulled back, Robyn looked down at him with shy and happy eyes. Nuzzeling him, she then laid down and rested her head on his chest. It felt nice to be close to someone like this. As she rested beside him, she listened to the soft beating of his heart. It pumped out a lullaby that she would grow to love.

He really liked her but his heart ached with the thought that what if she didn't want to have a relationship with him after this.

Robyn felt very lost when she tried to think about what her feelings for her doctor were. On one hand, she could chalk all of this up to hormones and simple sexual infatuation. Yet... it just didn't seem plausable when she peaced together the other aspects of her life. She had never been so reckless over something that didn't matter to her. Didn't Bryan mean something to her? Even just a little bit?

Robyn yawned softly and rested beside him. "I'm really happy that you're here with me." she finally said softly. "It would have been really lonely if you weren't." Closing her eyes, she breathed in and out softly and let her body relax and go to a peaceful, sleeping state. Before she fell asleep, she yawned softly and cuddled against Bryan.

A soft breath passed her lips and Robyn slept on peacefully through the night. When she finally awoke, it was relatively early. That day she would leave and would probably have to forget Bryan. What was there to expect in a relationship with him, anyway? It was hardly what someone would call legal. Sighing softly, she sat up in the bed.

A soft sigh passed from her lips and she flopped back against the soft pillows of the hospital bed. What could she do? All they had done was kissed. That hardly qualified for serious soul bonding. Their paths had just crossed momentarilly and he would probably be out of her mind by the time the summer was over and she reached her junior year in high school.

Robyn looked over at him and couldn't help but smile. Even if her infatuation would later be proved as nothing, she still wanted to enjoy the time that she had with him. Getting out of bed, she walked to him and looked softly into his eyes. "Hey." she said softly, her voice shy. Gently leaning up on her toes, she pressed her lips to his and closed her eyes.

Might as well enjoy the fairy tale before it ended. As she pulled away, she looked softly into his eyes and smiled. "Oh, yes. I slept very well." she answered, reaching up and brushing away a stray lock of his brown hair. Blushing softly, she looked down at her feet and took in a breath. Despite trying to be brave, she still felt really shy around him.

"A little bit." Robyn admitted, blushing when her stomach emmited a small grumble. Shaking her head, she looked down at her stomach as if she were ready to scold it for embarassing her. According to the clock on the wall, it was around five o'clock and she was not sure where they would be able to aquire any food. Most places were closed.

A soft blush remained on her cheeks and she nodded her head thoughtfully. "Alright." she answered back, her voice sounding more like a squeak then the confident tone that she had been going for. Within a few hours her parents would be at the hospital to check her out and her less than a day long romance with the doctor would be kicked under the rug, forgotten.

Bryan didn't find anything worth giving her. He hated giving his patients nasty hospital food. He made a quick stop to the Bob Evans that was across the street and got a better breakfast for her. He came back within 13 minutes.

" Sorry it took so long but I wasn't going to make you nasy hospital food" he explained.

Robyn laughed softly and sat up in the bed. "It's alright. Thank you for caring enough about me to go out and buy me food." Reaching for the small sliding table, she took the bag from him and opened it to take out the food. As much as it pained her, she knew that the end of their romance was inevitable. Until, of course, she learned about the candy striper system.
