She smiled at him. "But I love you. Not them."

"Eh, yeah. Still, they're hot to ya. It's like me saying Kate beckinsale is hot as hell." Joshua muttered, seeing whether she'd react as much as he did.

"But she is hot." she said, smiling at him. "Did I really upset you?" she asked.

"But you're hotter." Joshua said, purring playfully. "So how long was our honeymoon again?" he asked, pulling her closer and caressing her with his hand.

"We've got 4 days left." she said, smiling.

Joshua chuckled, kissing her head. "Well then, I guess we should walk around more often and just have fun." he said as he kissed her softly. He still wasn't up to full speed, but he could catch up. "I love you."

She smiled. "That means more sex too."

Joshua laughed. "So far, that's all you think about. Now I wonder what'll happen post-birth. Geez, will you lose that libido?" he asked, kissing her neck.

"Probably for a little while." she smiled, moving her head she he had more room.

Joshua smirked against the skin of her neck and suckled gently. "Well then I guess I should appreciate all the opportunities I get." he joked, pulling away and kissing her heavily.

As months went by, the due date came. Joshua had prepared the baby's room in the extra room at the loft and had bought extra gates, locks for anything possible. It almost seemed like he was the one in the nesting period and not Marley. He waited beside her in the bed, hoping for contractions. "You seriously don't feel anything?" he asked, frowning.

Marley chuckled and nodded. "I'm positive that I don't feel a thing. If anything happens then you'll be like... the third one to know."

Joshua nodded, frowning. "Geez, how long will this baby take....But uh, then again...doctor told us that um, sex, helps speed the process a bit..." he grinned, smirking and kissing her neck.

She chuckled. "He also said not to rush it. The baby will come when it's ready."

Joshua scoffed. "Yeah, but, he didn't say not to do it.." he mumbled, pulling away and resting against the pillows on the bed. He sighed, watching the TV in front of them. "Is it kicking?" he asked, smiling. He had told the doctor they wanted to wait for the sex of the baby, though he saw a chuckle from him. Would they have a girl?

Marley thought she was having twins. She could feel two kicks at the same time some times. "I don't feel anything." she said again.

"Ugh, this is worse than waiting for your favorite dish to come up.." Joshua groaned, nuzzling her neck. "So, you think it's a girl?" he asked, smiling. He was oblivious to the whole possibility of having twins.

"I think we're having twins." she said simply.

"What? Oh my god....did we even prepare for two?" Joshua asked, going pale and chuckling weakly.

"I have." she smiled. "If I do have two babies in here then we'll deal with it." she said, kissing his lips. then she gasped and grabbed her stomach. "Oh god..." she smiled breathlessly. "Joshua I think my water just broke."

Joshua got up quickly grabbing the luggage and his keys. "Uh, ok, no panicking!" he said, running downstairs and almost falling over the gate he had placed before time. He then ran to the car, opening the trunk and putting everything in, then going back inside. "Honey! Come on, let's get going!" he said excitedly, carrying her downstairs carefully even thought she weighed a bit more. He too was starting to think they might have twins. Then again, what was wrong with two of everything? Helping her in the car, he drove carefully as well, not willing to lose his babies, not again. "Just deep breaths baby." he said, kissing her cheek at a stop before taking off again.

she chuckled. "You're more excited than I am." she said, taking deep breaths like he said. She rubbed her belly and smiled.

As Joshua arrived at the hospital, he took her in himself and admitted her. They waited impatiently as the doctor arrived to take her in for evaluation and see how far along she was dialated. He held her hand as they were now in a room, the machine beside them having two separate things recording Marley and the baby's heart rates and heart pressure. "Can you really believe it? We're going to be parents in a couple of hours.." he smiled.

she smiled and nodded, taking deep breaths. She wasn't quite ready yet to give birth, still had a long wait, but it was definitely happening.
