Finally a home~ Private

"You ok?" Joshua asked, though the answer was obvious. She looked nervous. "Everything will be fine.." he said, holding her hands and kissing them softly.

"It hurts... Like the worst cramps of my life and it's only going to get worse." she said softly, moaning softly at the contractions.

"I know, I'm sorry you gotta go through this." Joshua chuckled, kissing her forehead. Soon it seemed her contractions were spiking high, getting more intense.

Marley was starting to sweat and hold onto Joshua's hand tightly. It had been about 6 hours and she was closer, so much closer to getting this pain over with.

The doctor soon came in, checking how far along she was. 7 centimeters, pretty ready by his standards. "Alright, now ma'am, I need you to start pushing. Dad, hold up her legs please." he ordered Joshua, whom did as told, helping with one leg as a nurse helped with the other. Putting on his gear, he sat before her and watched for the head. "Start pushin babe!" he said, trying to encourage her.

Marley pushed and screamed, doing everything that a woman giving birth does. Soon, she was sitting with her baby boy in her arms while Joshua held their girl. Elizabeth and Shawn were called and were on their way as fast as legally possible. Marley smirked at Joshua. "I told you we were having twins." she said tiredly. She sighed, looking at her little boy. Jonathon Shawn ((Joshua's last name. I don't remember it. ^_^)) "They're beautiful..." he mumbled and looked at Joshua holding their little girl. Ilane Elizabeth ((Joshua's last name.))

Joshua looked at their little baby girl and boy, his eyes watering. "I can't believe they're really here..." he said softly, watching them sleep in their arms. Jonathan and Ilane were insanely cute, their cheeks bulging and red from screaming as they were born and from the cold they weren't used to. He sat next to Marley, kissing her cheek. "Thank you.." he whispered. Shawn and Elizabeth couldn't believe they were finally grandparents. They wanted to hold the twins, but knew they should remain as they are. They had enough from being born.

Marley smiled at her love. "No, thank you." she said chuckling. She held her son close to her chest before a nurse came in. She said that she had to take the twins to the nurcery to let them sleep and let everyone else sleep. Reluctantly, Marley let go of her son, having some odd feeling about that nurse.

Joshua too had that odd feeling. He handed over his daughter slowly, the nurse smiling and putting the two in their little mini-cribs. She then said goodnight to the family and left the room rather quickly. Shawn smiled. "Well then, they were adorable. Well worth the trouble." he said, smiling at Marley. Elizabeth chuckled, hugging Joshua. "You did good, babe."

Marley looked at the door her two babies left out of. "Joshua, baby, do something for me please. Follow them. Make sure that they get to the nursery." She looked at her husband, her eyes very worried. "I just want to make sure they get there. Please."

Joshua sighed, nodding. "Ok, if it makes you feel better." he smiled, kissing her forehead and getting up. Leaving the room, he saw the babies nowhere. "What the...?" he mumbled, hurrying to the nursery and looking through the glass. He panicked. The twins were nowhere to be seen. "Shit! Police!" he screamed, telling the nearest guard that someone took his babies. Shawn jumped, hearing his son scream. "Christ, stay here ladies." he said, leaving the room quickly and receiving the heartbreaking news. "You stay here, I'll go out and see if I can track the nurse down." he said, rushing outside to see if he could see anyone rushing with two babies.

Marley started to panic slightly and sat up, looking at Joshua as he walked in. "What happened?"

"The twins...That nurse wasn't a nurse. She took our kids. My dad and the police are looking for her now as we speak." Joshua said, tears falling. Elizabeth gasped, breaking out into tears.

Marley stared at Joshua for a while before breaking into tears herself. "I knew it! I'm not suppose to be a mom..." he mumbled.

"Don't say that. She'll be found....We'll get our babies back!" Joshua said, slamming his fist against the wall and falling to his knees. He sniffed, holding back yelling and tears. It had been around 8 hours, but they had been able to detain the woman. It was a high speed chase and the babies could've lost their lives. By the time the nurses were done with assesing the children and making sure nothing was wrong, it was already two hours past. Joshua had to file a report to confirm the kidnapping and it was just a mess. The police had left and the woman was taken with them. Joshua came back inside the room, pushing the small cart which held the twins inside. Elizabeth and Shawn both were delighted, smiling but waitin for Marley's reaction.

Marley gasped and almost broke into tears. She smiled, holding her arms out for one of her babies. She hadn't slept and it was showing on her features. She had dark lines under her eyes and she was shaking slightly. But, she couldnt' sleep, not without her son and daughter.

Joshua handed over Ilane, whom was probably looking forward to see her mother as much as she did. "Here's the baby, well, one of em." he chuckled, smiling as Marley took their daughter into her arms.

Marley smiled, holding her daughter close. "I almost lost you baby." she said softly, kissing her baby on the forehead.

Joshua looked over to his parents, thanking them silently for staying. It took a lot of courage not to lose control of the situation. He would've wanted to hurt that woman, but held back. At least he had his kids back. Jonathan however fell asleep, since he was comfy.

Marley almost passed out but sighed, handing Ilane back to Joshua. "Joshua, baby, could you lay with me please? You look as tired as I do."

Joshua nodded, sighing as he took Ilane and set her next to Jonathan. "Ok...mom, dad, you mind? Can you accompany the kids to the nursery?" he said tiredly. The two nodded, escorting the cart out and telling them to get a good night's rest. It was late in the afternoon anyway. He laid next to Marley, resting an arm over her protectively. "Hmm...Love you."

"I love you too." she whispered, cuddling to him.

As the hours went by, Elizabeth came in. She shook Marley's shoulder gently. "Baby, the nurse asked me whether you wanted the twins back in the room for a feeding. They're hungry and she would like to help you with breastfeeding.." she whispered.

Marley was still exhausted and needed more sleep but she couldn't let her kids go hungry. she sighed and nodded. "Yeah, alright." she said.

"You sure? It's voluntary." Elizabeth said. She knew that her daughter in law was exhausted. Having so much anxiety and panic took their toll on someone. Even Joshua continued to sleep.
