Finally a home~ Private

She hugged him as much for her comfort as for his. They both needed to cry, or at lest each other.

Joshua let his tears fall, but he didn't dare sob. He was afraid that their kids would just hear. For some reason, their kids, or any kids for that matter always knew something was up. He was going to miss his mom something terrible, but he knew now she was going to be in a better place.

Marley held onto Joshua, letting her tears fall. Elizabeth had taken her in after Shawn had sent her here and loved her, acted like a mother to her. Slowly though, Marley started to fall asleep, holding herself close to her love.

Joshua felt that Marley was falling asleep. He laid her down slowly, laying beside her on the bed and turning off the lights. Once that was done, he put the covers over themselves and held her close. "Everything will be fine.." he whispered, kissing her head and closing his eyes, falling asleep and preparing himself mentally for having to explain to their kids of their grandma's passing.

The next morning, Ilane got up early, her arm throbbing. She went to her parents room, saw they were still sleeping then went to her brother, simply crawling into the bed with him. She didn't want to wake her parents up and she always felt better with her brother near.

Jon moved a little, noticing someone got into the bed. He then opened his eyes and saw Ilane. "Ilane?" he said quietly, rubbing his eyes and yawning. "What's wrong?" he asked, holding her and yawning again.

"My arm hurts and I don't want to wake up Mommy and Daddy." she said softly, curling into her brother.

Jon nodded, sighing and almost falling asleep immediately. "Does it hurt really bad?"

She nodded. "Yes."

"I'll get mommy and daddy then. They know better at how to help with your pain." Jon said, carefully climbing over her and going to their bedroom. "Mommy?" he whispered as he reached and tugged on Marley's hand.

Marley jumped awake and looked at her son. "What's wrong?" she asked groggily. "What time is it?"

Jon huffed. "I donno, but Ilane is hurting. Help her mommy." he demanded, pouting as Joshua too woke up. He groaned, rubbing his eyes and looking at his son. "I'll get her medicine son, just go back to your sister ok?" he said, watching the boy go back to his sister in a hurry as he got up himself to get the medicine from the cabinet in their bathroom.

"What time is it?" Marley asked again, rolling into Joshua's spot of the bed.

Joshua yawned, looking at his alarm clock on the night stand. "7 sharp in the morning..." he said as he measured the medicine with the spoon it came with. "Just stay in bed, I'll take care of Ilane." he smiled, leaving the room and going to the twins' room. "Ilane? Babe, I'm here with your medicine." he said as he bent down to give it to her.

Ilane slowly sat up and took the medicine, making a face. "Daddy? Can I sleep with you?" she asked, holding her arms up to be picked up.

Joshua blinked, figuring she'd want to then watch cartoons or something, but, he smiled and nodded. "Yes, you can." he said as he held her in his arms. Jonathan pouted, but followed as Joshua knew he'd want the same too. "Hey, we've got two to get into the bed, babe." he said with a grin as he walked into the room with Marley in bed.

Marley sighed and opened her eyes. She smiled and scooted over to her side of the bed again. "Is Laney okay?" as she held her arms open for Jonathon.

Jonathan giggled, getting into the bed and cuddling with Marley. Joshua smiled, sitting down and then laying Ilane down inbetween them. "Oh yeah, aren't you sweety? I gave her the medicine, so she should be fine as rain." he yawned, laying his head on the pillow and cuddling Ilane carefully.

Ilane nodded, still tired as she cuddled with her dad.

Marley smiled. "Good." she said, giving her son an Eskimo kiss.

Joshua, yawned again, cuddling back and closing his eyes. "Going back to sleep." he mumbled, sighing.

Jonathan smiled, doing the same and cuddling. "I wanna go back to sleep..." he whined.

She smiled "then go back to sleep, silly."

Both Joshua and Jonathan complied, cuddling into whomever was beside them. With one last yawn, they too fell asleep. Again.

Later, Marley woke up because of a demanding bladder. Pulling away from Jon, she padded her bare feet across the wooden floors and to the bathroom.

Joshua however woke up from the sound. Slowly he got away from Ilane, holding his breath even as he tiptoed to the bathroom. He had heard Marley now washing her hands. "Marley?" he whispered as he went into the bathroom and closed the door.

She looked at him through the mirror and smiled. "Hello, my love," she said, her accent clear.
