Me and Steph!

Jack nodded, walking in and closing the door. He then went to the kitchen, grabbing a coca cola can from the fridge. "Hurry up! I pre ordered the tickets!" he said loudly, sipping from the can after opening it.

Lilli came bouncing down the stairs, taking the can from him and taking a sip before handing it back. "Jeez... so impatient. I forgot, nothing new for me." she mumbled.

Jack grunted, about to protest. "New? Hey, you know me inside out little girl." he laughed, pushing her away playfully and grabbing another can. "You owe me now." he said, winking as he opened the can and chugged away. Once done, he threw the can into the trash can and opened the door. "Now come on, let's get going." he ordered, going to the truck and taking off once she was inside. He saw his friend, waving as he took notice to the car. He went through the small drop off lane. "Hey, get out, I'll park and come right back, k?" he said, smiling. His friend nodded to him, approving of Lilli indefinitely.

Friend-

Lilli looked at the friend and smiled. She stuck her hand out to him and said. "Hi, I'm Lilli. I don't think I know you... Are you on the foot ball team?"

Kyle smiled, winking. "Eh, yeah. I hope I'm not intruding. He told me he was gonna be in the mall later, but I recognized his car so....Yeah. The name's Kyle, you're Lilli, right?" he asked, chuckling as he held out his hand to shake. She was gorgeous to him.

Lilli smiled, letting her hand linger in his for a while. Maybe she could date him and get her mind off of Jack. "Yeah, I'm Lilli."

Jack then came along, smiling. He saw the two hitting it off. "Hey guys, so, we're going in?" he asked, chuckling. Kyle nodded. "Yeah, I bought my ticket. 2012, baby." he said excitedly. Jack smiled. "Let's go guys." he said, going inside though the other two hung in the back. He didn't feel the least bit intimidated. Once they got pass the ticket check, he turned to them. "Uh..Lilli, you coming with me still?" he asked. Kyle however was staring at her as she was about to answer.

Lilli looked at Kyle then at Jack. "What do you mean?"

Kyle sighed. "Let's just all go to the movie together, hm?" he said, trying to save Jack from a major fall. Leading them into the theater for 2012, he got to the top for the good seats. "Hurry up slowpokes." he said quietly as he sat in the middle. Jack sighed, smiling at Lillli. "He's a bit of a nut, huh?" he asked, chuckling.

She nodded slowly. "I like him." she looked at her best friend. "Are you trying to set me up with him? To get my mind off of you hopefully?"

Jack scoffed. "Come on, really? No. I didn't think he really was gonna come around to the movie theater. I swear." he said, smiling as he sat next to Jack. Kyle smiled and patted the seat beside him. "Sit here, girl." he said, having a texan accent a bit.

Lilli smiled at Kyle and sat down where he wanted her too. She didn't really believe Jack but, either way, she didn't care. Anything to get Jack off her mind.

Jack coughed, sighing. Kyle smiled back, looking back at the screen. He continued talking to her though, mostly about the previews coming up before the actual movie, such as what purpose there was since even before the previews there was advertisements. Jack would just be glad that she would forget about him romantically..hopefully.

After the movie, Lilli walked out with Kyle. She turned to him, blushing slightly. "Hey Kyle... Uhm... Do you wanna go get something to eat. Ice cream or something?" she asked then looked at Jack. "If it's okay with you. I think Kyle could drive me home."

Jack felt a bit of a tug at the ol' heart strings. They always used to go for ice cream. He smiled, shaking his head. "Nah, it's fine. Go ahead." he said, waving as he walked past them quickly. Kyle smiled. "Hey, no need to even ask. I'd love to." he said as he made a grab for her hand and walked out. Instead of a truck though, he had an old camaro, though he was trying to restore it. For Jack however, he did feel a bit..cut out from her plans.

Lilli smiled back at Jack as she walked away with Kyle. She loved him and wanted to make sure that he was okay with this. She smiled brightly at the camero. "Wow... nice car."

Jack didn't even look back. All he was glad for was that maybe Kyle had enough charm and wit to sway Lilli. He sighed as he got into his truck, staying quiet. Was it right? Kyle however smiled, opening the door for her. "Here you go." he said.

She smiled, getting in to the car. She ignored the pang in her heart at letting Jack go. She knew the two of them could never be the same. Hopefully they'd be able to put it all behind them and keep moving on.

"You ok?" Kyle asked as he started driving to the nearest Ice cream parlor, Maggy Moo's. It was an odd name, but damn it, they had good ice cream. Jack drove home, sighing as he parked in the driveway, staring at the house just a few blocks down, Lilli's. He screwed up big time. Going inside, he decided to take a shower.

"Yeah, I'm fine. A bit confused about things but.. .that's life." she said, smling and shrugging it off. Jack would be fine and besiedes, he turned her down.

"What are you confused about?" Kyle asked as he parked in front of the mall and looked at her. He had a distinct feeling it was about Jack.

"Nothing you need to concern yourself about." she said, smiling at him. "Now... how 'bout you show a girl a good time?"

Kyle smiled, nodding. "No problem." he chuckled, getting out and then heading towards the ice cream parlor with Lilli. Going inside, he asked her about her favorite flavor. "What's your favorite?" he asked, willing to pay for it also.

She smiled, looking at the flavors. "Today... it's... Cotton candy." she said.

Kyle nodded again, asking for a large cup for them to share. "I'm game for something new. I usually order chocolate and vanilla." he admitted, smiling. He then paid for it, handing her the cup with two spoons on each side.
