A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.3

"I want to sleep with you." she said, sitting up with Brianna in her arms. "Lead the way."

Nick kissed Bri's forehead softly, smiling warmly at their baby girl, and led Ilane out. He shifted into his wolf form and laid down, curled in a semi-circle and ready to wrap himself around his two loves.

Ilane laid down, placing Bri between them so she wouldn't get cold. "So... You should know." she started. "I threw up this afternoon." Usually that would be a bad thing, unless one was trying to get pregnant.

His ears perked up as he looked at her, and he nuzzled her lovingly. Do you really think you're pregnant, he asked, wanting to make sure she wasn't sick.

She shrugged. "I'm not sure. But I really hope so." she said, rubbing her belly.

He pressed his nose very gently to her belly. I'll have to keep you extra warm, he said, scooting closer without squishing their baby girl.

She smiled, pulling his over them. "We'll know for sure if I wake up tomorrow and throw up."

Nick nuzzled her lovingly. Either way, you need your rest, my love. Get some sleep. I'll keep you both warm, he promised softly.

She nodded, closing her eyes. "I love you." she mumbled, holding Bri close.

Nick curled himself protectively around them, nuzzling them gently. He watched them sleep for a while, then closed his eyes and fell asleep, himself.

Olivia was laying with Al around her, keeping her warm. the next morning, She woke up, smiling and cuddling her fox. People were slowly moving and Olivia sat up. She smiled, seeing her dad still asleep. She smiled, detangling herself from Al and going to him, laying down next to him, cuddling.

Raini slept with her arms around Olivia and Al. She slept through Olivia getting up, oblivious.

Brados yawned, shaking his fur, and looked down at his little girl to see if she was alright. There was frost on the ground. He nuzzled her, gently waking her.

Kale slowly woke up, opening her eyes to smile at her dad. then, she shivered. "Daddy... It's cold..." She mumbled then her eyes got wide. "Did everyone have blankets?"

Kendal smiled, wrapping himself around Kendal, still sleeping on.

Brados curled himself tighter around her, trying to warm her up more. Everyone had blankets, don't worry, sweetheart. He shifted into his human form and scooped her up into his arms, going to find Sami and their other two children.

Kale held herself close to him, nuzzling his neck tiredly.

Sami was awake but holding Izzy between her and Conall.

Brados found them. "How did you sleep," he asked Sami quietly, bending down to be closer to them.

"It was cold." She said softly. "It's all I can do to keep Izzy warm and I've no idea about Conall..."

Brados laid Kale down beside her mother and stroked Conall's forehead. "Hey, buddy. Time to get up," he murmured.

Conall shivered. "D-D-D-Daddy... I'm c-c-cold..." Brados picked his son up and held him close. "It's okay. Daddy's here," he murmured.

Sami sighed, feeling like a bad mother at the moment. "Here." Kale said softly. "He can have my blanket. I'll crawl in with Mommy." she took the blanket off, handing it to Conall.

Brados kissed Kale's forehead and wrapped the blanket around his boy, still holding him close to give him some of his body heat. He laid down next to Sami and laid Conal between them and his sisters, using all of their body heat to warm Conall up. "This warmer, buddy," Brados asked softly.

Conall nodded, shivering slightly less.

"I'm sorry..." Sami said to Conall. "I didn't realize you were so cold." she really felt horrible.

"I-It's okay, Mommy," he said. "I'm warming up now, and we kept Izzy warm," he smiled.

"Still. You should have said something." She said softly, reaching over to comb some hair from is face. "I don't want you cold."

"But then it would have been cold for your or Izzy," he said.

She shook her head. "I could have gotten another blanket or changed into a wolf for you two."
