she eventually fell asleep as the monotone voice talked about sea sponges.

Chad put a blanket over her and kissed her cheek softly.

She nuzzled into his shoulder unconsciously.

He held her close, kissing her forehead softly and let her sleep.

About an hour or so later she woke up looking at him sleepily "Did Hope go to bed yet?" she asked sleepily a few seconds she realized Hope was still at her parents house. "Nnnnn." she groaned burring her head in his shoulder. "It's weird not having her hear with me...."

He kissed her forehead. "I don't like her not being here either," he murmured.

"Oh no..." she said sitting up. "All your pain meds are the dorm still! I'm sorry! I shoulda thought of bringing them along...Are you ok? You're not in too much pain are you?"

"Jamie, I'm okay. I really only start hurting when you jerk around a lot," he admitted.

"But you're supposed to be on them..." she said looking at his leg.

"If I don't think about it, It doesn't hurt that bad," he promised.

"But still, they're about probably ready to wear off, and then you'll be in more pain." she said "If I remember the dosing correctly."

"Don't go through the trouble, honey," he said gently. "You look tired, go back to sleep. I can manage."

"Are you sure? I'm supposed to be nursing you back to health. I wouldn't be a good nurse if I let you go without medication..." she said kissing him getnly.

He kissed her back lovingly. "I'm fine, I promise," he smiled softly at her, stroking her cheek.

"Are you sure?" she asked eying him hesitantly.

"I'm sure," he kissed her cheek.

"I'm going to go get them first thing tomorrow...or just say the world and I'll go alright?" she asked him.

"Alright, sweetheart," he kissed her softly. "Go back to sleep now," he told her gently, stroking her hair.

She looked up at him gently and kissed his jawline "Can I sleep in your bed with you? Would that be ok?"

"That would be perfectly fine," he smiled softly.

She smiled blushing "Alright. Whenever you're ready to go to bed..." she said gently.

He kissed her softly. "I'm ready now, if you are."

She nodded smiling helping him into the wheel chair as she continued to kiss him.

He smiled softly as he kissed her, feeling no pain at all. Almost as if her kisses were pain medicine in itself.
