Drake sighed, nodding. He instead watched the performance, though noticing other couples. Obviously some were scoring, and those people were his fellow bretheren. He could laugh hysterically, but he'd feel bad for the girls. Usually unless they were their own mates, they might be tossed away if lucky.

Heather smiled over at Drake with a small wink as she played one of her fastest lyrical songs. The terms of heartbreak, rejection, and pay-back poured out of her like the air she breathed, and after every song she felt better...

"Feral pigs huh?" she said with a smile. Sounded like fun she guessed. She took another drink of her beer and glanced over at the band playing. They were pretty good.

Drake listened to the songs for once, and eventually found himself liking them. The lyrics seemed easy to relate to, in some odd way. Brought old memories of when he was alive. She must've been hurt a lot if she was singing about such pain, love.

Heather smiled and about an hour of music later-how she did it she'd never know-she stepped off the stage for one of her longer breaks. She moved through the crowd, accepting praise left and right till she sat down at the bar.

"Well, good voice, nice songs too. All true." Drake said, nodding and drinking his beer. He choked a bit, knowing his body wasn't used to the alcohol and would sooner or later reject it, making him puke. But not now. He had gotten over that gut-wrenching feeling.

Heather smiled gently, pulling her hair back from her shoulder. She ran her fingers over her birthmark absent-mindedly. "Well thank you all the same. I work hard at what I do... And thank God that was my last set..."

Drake noticed the birthmark, stiffening. A breedmate? "Do you know the significance of that birthmark?" he asked, looking over it and almost feeling ashamed. How could he have almost planned to feed from her? What a fool he was!

Heather arched an eyebrow, her fingers resting gently on the tear-drop. "No, I don't. I do know that everyone I've met believes that it is a medical anomoly, as they've never seen anyone else with it... Do you know what it means?"

"Eh...If I said I did, would you believe me?" Drake anwered, chuckling weakly. He'd have to talk to her somewhere, not in this bar. He waited on her answer as he continued to stare at the mark. No wonder he felt so strongly attracted to her neck, it was the damn mark!

Heather chuckled, eyeing him with a smirk. "You have no idea of the things I believe..."

Drake took a breath and decided to cool off. "Well, that's kinda sparked my curiousity....Wanna go to your place to continue our chat?" he asked, smirking and licking his lips a bit. This would at least get them alone.

Heather nodded, her eyes flashing to the bartender. "Tell Rick that I'm headed out..." She reached over the bar and pulled out her purse, pulling it up on her shoulder.

Drake nodded, getting up and going to the bartender. "Heather's leaving, k?" he said, patting on the table and walking to Heather. "So, my ride or yours?" he smiled, winking.

Heather chuckled, watching him with playful eyes. "Your ride, seems inticing..."

"Heh, I'm sure..." Drake replied, almost smirking. Heather seemed very enticed already from the beginning. He went to the back, showing her his motorcycle. "You like?" he asked, grinning. He knew women dug motorcycles.

Heather smiled, running her hands over the leather seating and inlays. "It's a very nice DuCotti. Looks really close to a Yamaha though..."

Drake chuckled, nodding his head in approval. "I see you like motorcycles huh? You even know the types. But uh, it's a custom Ducati." he said, smirking. "Shall we ride to your place?" he asked, over looking her and almost praying that the tear on her neck wasn't really a tear. He wanted to feed off this chick badly.

Haether smild, her eyes flickering over the decals. "I know my choppers well. This one has that signature Italian feel, you know? And I think the ride tomy house will be fun with the engine revved. So let's ge going..." She itched at the birthmark, figuring that she'd get a tattoo over it. "Hey, here's a question. What would you say if I got this birthmark played itno a tatoo... Like an angel crying or something?"

"Heh, I think the mark is just fine..." Drake said, his fingers caressing it. He found this mark to be very well respected. Though, maybe it would be fitting. "Then again, it's not my decision, it's yours." he smiled, getting on the bike and handing her his helmet. "Come on, let's get you home then." he winked, revving the engine and smirking.

Haether blushed as her skin lit up when he touched her birthmark. She closed her eyes, imagining what the tattoo would look like. "I think that I wouldn't have the birthmark itself touched, as much as the rest of the area around it..." She slid his helmet on, sliding on the Ducati and wrapped her arms around his waist and slid in close.

Drake chuckled as he heard her muse about her birthmark and tatoo. It might be nice. But, would she want him to stick around after hearing what that birthmark meant? He took off out from behind the bar, onto the road. "So, just tell me where and I'll go." he said, slowing down in speed.

Heather smiled gently, her chin on his shoulder. "Its not far from here, just up on the interstate and the first exit. Yeah, it leads into the country, but I like the view..." She liked the way he felt against her, very comfortable.

"So you live out in the country? Wow, I didn't expect you were a country girl." Drake joked, revving the engine and speeding up as he was going on the road that lead to the interstate. It wouldn't take long with his speed. As they were on the way to the main road, he noticed something in the dark. If it was a rogue, he'd have to pass. He couldn't risk this girl for anything. Damn it, if it's a rogue, we might be being followed....Shit.

Heather closed her eyes and smiled. "I bet there's alot of things you dno't know about me... Butmaybe, if you're lucky, you'll find some more out... Who knows?" She smirked, her lips lingering very close to his neck. She bet easily that he was a good kisser, and she wouldn't mind finding out. She felt, however, a very strange ting in the air of danger... Not the danger she was used to or liked, but a very threatening danger... One that posed a great risk to her life.
