" i'm scared" he said softly

"We are, too," Alice said gently. "There's nothing protecting you from the wolves. Sam's pack won't agree with Jake on this."

" Jake never agrees." He said trying to brighten the mood but just epicly failing. " I can't keep her here...you know there is a bad zombie problem"

Alice sighed as she flipped through all her visions, her eyes looking but not seeing what was in front of her. "We could try Nahuel and Huilen..."

Bella furrowed her eyebrows. "Aren't the Volturi looking for Nahuel's father? Joham?"

"They've found him and are back in Volterra," she answered softly. "They don't know where Huilen and Nahuel are. They made sure to stay away until I told them it was safe."

[had to look in the book for their names. forgot x.x lol]

" Either way the baby will come when its ready and it will grow fast" Edward said.

Bella nodded.

Alex yawned and rubbed her eyes, waking up. She blinked when she opened her eyes. "What are you guys doing here," she asked, sitting up.

"We came to help," Bella smiled. "How are you feeling?"

"Little tired, little hungry," she shrugged. "Better, though... If only a little."

Jake walked in eating ham, " Mm dude you have some kick ass ham. Oh hey." He waved to the girl as he ate.

Alice growled. "Get in the corner or something, dog, I can't see," she complained.

" Blah Blah " he ruffled Alice's hair and got to the corner eating his ham.

She frowned and fixed her hair, then went back to looking.

Bella thought a minute. "How about a bath, Alex," she smiled. "And a massage to help you relax?"

Alex shrugged. "Sure. Do you mind," he asked Bryan.

" Go ahead" he said gently

She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Kay. Be out soon...ish... I think." She smiled sheepishly and followed Bella up to one of the rooms.

Alice sighed. "The Volturi will find her eventually," she murmured. "Aro's her ancestor."

He sighed softly looking out the window. " What am I doing to do"

Alice looked. "You haven't decided yet. It isn't clear. But it involves the wolves, somehow or another. It fades in and out."

" I honestly don't know. Its hopeless" he said softly.

"If you truly believed that, Alex wouldn't be alive in any of my visions," she murmured.

" Because I won't let her die" he said.

"It isn't going to get any easier. We'll take her to Africa to Nahuel and his aunt and stay with them for a little while, unless you want to go to Forks."

" Jake and Sam will butt heads if so" he said.


Jake shrugged, " I'll kick his ass if he gets all ass nine K-9 on you" he said.

"It's up to you, Bryan. We're not going to stress Alex out with details."

" I don't know anymore" he walked out to think

Alex sighed and sat in a chair, laying her head back on the back of it. "I hope we don't go through this again," she mumbled. "Nearly a full month of headaches..."

" Actually 1-2 weeks.." he said gently.

She sighed. "Then we might as well start giving her blood and move her to Africa for a while," she mumbled.

" yeah" he said softly.
