Bella could hear every word they said, though she focused on getting Alex relaxed. Once Alex was asleep in bed, Bella went back downstairs. "Who's staying with her," she asked.

" I don't know" he said gently.

"Maybe we all should."

"If we all go, Sam will get suspicious," Alice pointed out.

" Sam can kiss my hairy bee hind. That is if he can catch it" Jake stretched and nodded towards Leah for the ok.

Leah finished her sandwich and nodded. "You don't expect us to swim there," she asked the vampires. "You can live without breathing. We cannot."

" Though I wonder about that theory when I have to sleep next to her in a tent after eating taco Bell" Jake muttered to Bella.

Bella chuckled, though Leah growled. "The same problem when you eat Emily's baked beans," she retorted.

" Blah Blah Blah" jake chuckled.

She growled and threw a knife from the kitchen at him.

" Whoah Whoah Down Killer" He said dodging them " I swear she must be a beast in bed" He whispered to Bella.

Bella laughed, though felt a little bad as Leah growled, shaking, as she walked outside.

" Oh now I've done it. I've hurted her ego" he said.


" you mean feelings" Edward said.

" No I meant Ego" jake said.


Bryan laughed.


Jake walked outside " Aw Leah, c'mon don't be like that. I was only joking..." he said thinking god he must've loved her enough to risk h is head at the moment when she was pissed.

Leah was still pissed, though she wasn't shaking anymore. She growled at him. "You're such an ass, Jake."

" I didn't mean any of it." Jake said gently.

She glared at him. "Yeah. Whatever."

" I didn't. Honest" He said softly and phased into a wolf and nuzzled her whinning.

She sighed after a few seconds. "Fine. I believe you. You're forgiven."

Jake licked her cheek and wagged his tail.



" I think someone is in love with Leah" Edward chuckled.

She scratched behind his ears, chuckling.

jake smiled up at her and nuzzled her gently.

She chuckled. "Okay, stop kissing up, Jake. I said you were forgiven," she shoved at him, though she was playing.

Jake phased back " I f I was kissing up I'd do this" He kissed her cheek.

She blinked, blushing slightly. She studied his face to see if he was teasing and just being an ass again.

Jake only smiled at her.

"Either way, you don't have to kiss up," she said, trying to brush it off.
