harry didn't have the money but what he did have was a sack of cuff links his father gave him for his birthday. He pulled it o ut and handed it to him. " Here now give me her" he pulled her back and then shut the door and told the driver to rush.

The highway man was pleased when he was handed the sack, not even blinking when the young heiress was torn from him and brought back to the man who had sat with her in the carriage. He would later be shocked to find that it was only a sack of cufflinks, and then realize that it had been the woman who been holding the money, something which was very uncommon.

Mary Anne gasped softly as she was pulled to Harry, and then rested her head against his chest and closed her eyes. Her heart was still beating wildly in her chest, and she was trying to calm down for the baby's sake.

" Are you alright?" he asked gently. harry had to think fast on that. So he lost a family heirloom at least she was safe and thier baby was safe.

Mary Anne simply nodded her head, he throat to dry for her to talk. She had nearly died. Minutes later, she finally spoke. "I'll have to buy you some more cufflinks." she murmured softly.

"I'm sorry." she whispered softly,looking into his eyes. He had given them up because of her. "I didn't know." It was silly of her to feel guiltly when it wasn't her fault, but she couldn't help it.

"It doesn't feel alright to me." Mary Anne whispered softly, placing a kiss on his lips. She felt guilty about it and wanted to make it up to him. Hopefully she would be able to find some nice cufflinks while they shopped for his clothes.

Mary Anne decided to drop it for the time being. Feeling guilty wouldn't bring back the cuff links. As they began to reach town, she sighed softly, and waited for the carriage to stop. Soon the driver opened the door for them, and they promptly walked out and went to the first clothing store.

Cuff linkes couldn't replace her or thier baby if she had gotten killed.

The seamstress, who was a plump, red faced woman, walked towards the young couple. "Who am I to be making ze clothes for today?" she asked, looking thoughtfully at Mary Anne, and then Harry.

"Hello, Madame Roxannah." Mary Anne said, smiling slightly when the woman offered a clumsy courtsy. "You will be preparing his new wardrobe for the season." she answered, motioning to Harry.

"Vat?" Madam Roxannah asked, laughing. "He is ze... ze.. shy one! Yes!" she chuckled and took his arm. "Time to measure ze waist, ze chest, and ze ass." she said, leading him to one of the measuring rooms.

Mary Anne blinked and followed after them. Madam Roxannah was deffinately a blunt woman. She was lucky that she was so talented with the needles, or else no one would come to her shop.

Harry let out a smalle squeak of some sort as she pulled him off to the measurement room.

Taking his measurements took a good half an hour. Then it was time to choose fabrics and designs. Mary Anne did most of the talking, knowing that Harry really didn't know much about the fashion standards in London. She did try to get his opinion on most of the clothes and fabrics, though.

Harry responded with how he thought though he thought fashion was a bit overated.

As overrated as he might have thought it was, fashion was still an important aspect in Society. Especially for a man who would be making his debut within a month. A good seven hours was spent picking out fabrics, designs, and having even more measurments done on Harry. When they finally arrived home with the reciets for theirs orders, Mary Anne sighed softly.

Harry eventually picked out fabric that would do. He had so much to learn yet he wanted to just spend lazy days with her and wait for thier baby.

Mary Anne was exhausted and needed to lie down. Once they reached her bedroom she sighed and sat down on one of the boudoir benches. Groaning gently, she looked over at Harry and offered him a small smile. It had been a long day and there would still be plenty of more shopping the next day. With only a month to prepare Harry she was fearful of getting an ulcer from the stress.

She sighed softly and rested her head against his chest. "I'm sorry." she whispered. There was so much stress being put on the both of them. Harry needed to be passed off of some sort of noble man which he simply was not. Mary Anne loved Harry and she was terribly worried for his safety and what would happen to him if he could not carry on the charade.

Harry was doing everything in his power to keep her safe and thier little life. They were his world now. He was going to be the father of her first child. He had to do something to support her until her father was too old to handle the estate and give it to him. Then they both could relax in the life of luxery with as many kids as they wanted to have. He found that sort of life something to want. Just for the soul fact of spending his days with the woman he loved.

"I know that this isn't going to be very much fun, but it was my father's request." She knew that if Society were to reject Harry than she would have to be married to her fiance quickly and would need to charade her child off as his. Harry would never be able to see his child lest her family name be tarnished by scandal, something that Mary Anne did not want to happen. It wasn't fair to Harry, but it was what would need to be done.
