Mary Anne awoke, as usual, to the sound of the maids walking in, and opening the curtains. One went to her to help her sit up, and then place the tray with her breakfast upon her knees. She ate quietly while her maids tidied her room, and then picked out the clothes that she would be wearing for the day. Once she was finished eating, she was taken to the wash room where the butlers had already brought a large basin of hot water to be poured into the bathtub.

Harry carried the large basin of water with his father's to the Lord's daughter's bed chambers. Once they sat it down. Harry stood professionally and pulled out his white gloves and slide them on again. His father did the same. In that house hold they were required to wear clean white gloves to keep thier finger prints off of the wood work and vases; that sort of nature.

"Thank you." Mary Anne said softly, and then thanked them again once the hot water was poured into the tub. "You are dismissed." she murmured. Each and every year she couldn't help but notice how handsome Harry got. They had been good friends since childhood, but after her debut into Society a few months ago, he had started to treat her differently.

Harry had to treat her like he treated any woman now he was of age to start courting plus he was professionally her Bulter. He pulled the screen by her basin. " I shall be waiting with your towel, Miss." he said winking at her. They did flirt behind everyone's back once in a while.

Mary Anne blushed softly, but couldn't help but smile. "I'm sure you will." she murmured softly under her breath. Once his father had left the bathroom, she gently turned her back to the screen and started to undress, the only sound being her clothes hitting the floor as she removed them. After placing them in the whicker basket, she then lowered herself into the tub, sighing contently.

Sometimes it was hard for her to tell if whether or not he was flirting or being serious with her. "A m-massage would be nice..." she murmured, her voice trailing off as her cheeks flushed pink. She knew that they did hold a certain attraction for one another. And she hated even more than it needed to be something that could only be shown once in a while when no one was looking.

Sometimes at night she could still remember the way he felt, or the heat of the moment. And how he would never kiss her or go farther. It wasn't acceptable. Not then or ever. His status was below her, and they would never be together. Eventually her father would probably marry her off to a rich fiance, and she would be lucky if Harry would be able to come with her as her personal butler.

She watched as he walked out from behind the screen, and gently moved his hands underneath the water to massage her legs. Mary Anne felt thankful that the water had bubble bath in it curtesy of the maids. Her and Harry hadn't done any real intense touching in a really long time. Now it was mostly harmless flirting. But she wasn't sure what would happen if he were to see her naked body. Something that the only man who would ever be able to see would be the man who she would have to be married.

Even this massage now was against all of the rules of society. But that didn't stop her from enjoying it. Mary Anne sighed softly, and gently closed her eyes.

Harry knew he had to be careful bout this. He massaged her body for 15 minutes till he heard the maids coming. He quickly dried his hands and put his sleves down and his gloves on and stood back in the corner of the room with her towels.

Her body trembled underneath his touch as he gently massaged her body. As his hands trailed against her abdomen, she gasped softly, though she knew he would never touch her in a vulgar place. When he had finished, and had retreated to behind the screen, she sighed softly to herself, and went back to washing her body. Once she had finished and had taken the towels from him to dry off, the maids came in to put her into her robe, and then to take her off to be dressed for the day.

As they dressed her in her many ptticaots and undergarments, she sighed, only able to think about Harry.

She walked out quietly behind the maids, wearing the usual morning gown. As always, she felt as if the maids had tightened the corset too tight, and as if she couldn't breath. Perhaps if she was lucky, she would be able to find a more compassionate, younger maid who wouldn't mind loosening her corset a little bit.

As she was lead to the dining room, she smiled softly seeing Harry.

Harry's father showed up with her father talking about the stocks. They were really good friends. " Ah yes. I know. The stocks are like the old RS.45 pistols., You've only have one go shot in the beginning." His father and her father laughed at his joke as his father served her father tea and his breakfast.

Harry pulled out the chair for her. " Here you are, Miss." he said.

"Thank you." Mary Anne said, taking the seat after he had pulled it out for her. She bit her lip tp surpress a small groan when her corset squeezed against her. Honestly! It felt like the only reason they made it so tight was to make her chest pop out. "Thank you." she murmured softly once more, and then took her tea cup once one of the miads had added cream and sugar.

She looked up at him and smiled appreciatively. Her special smile for him. Even if they couldn't be together, he was still a good friend. He understood her. Once she had finished her tea and toast, she gently opened her book up to where she had left off.

She wasn't off the hook just yet. Even though she had graduated from the finishing school that she had been sent to, she still had a few lessons that she still needed to go to. There was her French lesson, and she was also to see her sponsor to learn basic etiquette and gentlelady manner.
