Inner turmoils~Moonangel

It took her a moment, but after seeing their eyes she knew what they really were. "It would be in your best interest to BACK OFF" she said in a low voice. If they didn't, then she would have to exert some force. Though she couldn't exactly pull out her wings when there was a chance of a real person coming around, she'd have to use some specificly human techniques.

They all then rushed to attack Lynn. But as they were close with their claws just dripping with poison, they blew into dust. Behind that, was Darren with his hand up towards where the demons stood. "Are you alright?" he asked, his hand blood stained red completely but soon turning back to it's normal skin color. He made sure no humans witnessed it.

"I'm fine" she said, slowly coming out of her fighting position. She hadn't gotten a chance to get at any of them when he came along. Oh well, she thought. Now she wouldn't have to worry about a kill on her slate, even if it would've been a demon.

Darren chuckled, raising a brow. "You couldn't get rid of simple demons? You truly must be a new angel then." he smirked, walking over to her and overlooking her body. Obviously he wouldn't care whether she was hurt or not, but he had to act concerned in order to trick her. "I'm not after your soul, don't worry. But, I'd like to know why you had to step into my territory.."

"Well, you see, I hadn't a clue it was your territory until after I had met you" she admitted. She still could've dealt with those other demons on her own. She had just hesitated, since she had to make sure they were demons and such. Either way though, she wasn't going to argue the point that she was pretty new.

"Heh, so, no thanks?" Darren asked, raising a brow and still smirking. Looking at his watch, he whistled. "How about I take you out for a drink then? I guess those demons really did take a good chunk of energy out of me." he said, stretching.

"I guess we could go out for a drink. And thank you" she said with a smile. Might as well, she thought. He did save her some trouble, anyhow. And there was no rules saying she couldn't drink, as long as she didn't drink too much or do anything stupid.

That was the point: Get drunk and do something stupid. Being new, she was pretty much in a tight collar. One small mistake and instantly he could take her soul. "My car then?" he asked, waving towards a BMW. Black and sleek, just as his soul.

"Sure" she said with a shrug. It was a nice car. She'd have to have him drive her back later for her car though. She'd have to watch her intake of drinks, but that could be easy enough. Just switch to club soda when she got just about buzzed.

"Alright, come on then." Darren said, leading her to the car and showing off that it had the kind of doors that opened up by themselves. Custom made, obviously. Going inside, he started the car and grinned. "Nice engine and car, huh?" he asked, chuckling.

"Very" she said with a gaurded smile. She was trying to forget whathe was and found it harder than she thought to get over the fact that she was goin to go hang with a demon. She wasn't used to seeing any at all, much less tolerating any.

Darren then started driving to the closest bar, it was classy though. As he drove however, he could feel the tension in the air. They both weren't even supposed to associate. Hell, so much as talk to one another. Still, he might as well make himself known, the first of others to get an angel's soul.

Lynn wasn't entirely sure what he expected, and went over the rules in her head as they drive. She couldn't have sex out of wedlock, though kissing and relationships were fine. She couldn't get drunk, envy, lie, commit adultury, kill a human, or anything such as that. She could lust a little, but not too much. She was on a pretty tight leash for her first year, and in about a month it wouldn't be as bad as that would be the end of her first year on earth.

He didn't expect much this time. Especially since Lynn wasn't all that comfortable with him. Darren continued to glance over at her, noticing she was in another world. Probably looking over her rules and knowing that the leash was tightening with each rule. That was the Achilles's heel for angels, the leash. That was his only advantage. As he parked, he led her inside, going to the bar and sitting on one of their chairs. "Beer." he ordered and then looked over at her. "What would you like?"

"Umm..." she said, not sure. She'd never had any alcohol before, and so she wouldn't know what would possibly taste good and what wouldn't. "Beer would be fine" she said and offered a smile. She didn't want to make it sound too much like she didn't know what she was doing. That just spelled out trouble.

Darin almost wanted to laugh, but of course that would be rude. He paid for both beers, then taking one in each hand, handing off one to Lynn. "It's not as strong as you think. Shots and other stuff like that are more for experienced drinkers." he grinned, opening his beer and taking a nice long gulp.

Lynn attempted to take a long drink out of her beer and found it tasted funny. She wasn't sure that she liked this beer stuff. Nonetheless she drank it because she figured it was just a taste you had to get used to. "Tastes funny" she admitted with a sheepish smile.

Darin chuckled. "It does at first but then it'll taste pretty good. Can't describe it but it's something these humans have done right." he winked, saying it quietly so not to attract attention. He chugged down his whole beer, putting down the bottle and licking his lips a bit. "You ever been in a bar til now?" he asked, smirking.

Lynn glanced around herself and check her memory. "Um, no, I don't believe I have ever been to a bar till now" she said, taking another drink of her beer. Surely she'd remember if she had ever came to a place such as this. When and if she ever returned to heaven, she'd have a lot of interesting stories to share for sure.

Darin chuckled. "Well then, I'm glad to have given you your first experience in a bar." he said, ordering another round of beer. Being an angel and hell, even not drinking ever, she might get buzzed within 3 or this last beer. The faster the better. He was already a sinner, so, she would become one as well, for lack of judgment.

Lynn smiled and finished off that beer, and when she was finishing up her second one she began feeling a bit funny. She'd have to stop soon with the drinking and all. She was starting to get used to this whole drinking thing, or at least she though she was getting used to it. The beer didn't taste funny anymore. It actually tasted pretty good.

Darin smirked a bit, looking away. "Tasting better now?" he asked, chuckling as he finished his second and threw them away, sitting back beside Lynn. "Don't get too drunk, I've no idea where you live." he grinned, nudging her in the side.

Lynn smiled. "Of course I won't get drunk.." her words came out a little slurred, but she felt okay enough. She knew that she couldn't have anymore drinks from here on this night. She was almost past the buzzed state and she hadn't even drank that much.

"Maybe we should get you home. You seem..drunk." Darin said, getting up. It was totally fake, his concern. But it seemed she was buzzed already, as expected of someone who never drank.

"Yeah, probably" she said with a laugh. She was definitely buzzed, "Sounds like a smart idea." She stood up and found she was mostly steady, since she really hadn't drank too terrible much. But it was enough to make her a bit dizzy at first when she stood.
