Inner turmoils~Moonangel

"Maybe a little, but that's all" she said with a little sigh. surely acknowledging the way someone looks isn't too bad of a sin. And of course she wouldn't wabt to lie about any of it. Lying is very clearly a sin.

Darin grunted, not liking much that she pretty much just took back a bit of what she said. That's all? Hah! Soon within the silence, the classy diner appeared along the road and he took a turn, parking. "I hope this isn't too painful for you to put up with." he said, chuckling as he got out of the car and opened her door.

"It isn't, and thankyou" she said with a smile. She got out of the car, ready to walk with him into the place. She figured when they get in she could probably let up a little bit more,since they'd be around other people. Easier to resist temptation.

As soon as they were seated, Darin had wine brought to the table. At least it was a dry wine, if it made any sense. Wasn't as bad as any other alcoholic beverage. "I hope you like this, it's a mergot." he said, grinning as he poured two glasses for them.

"Thankyou" she said with a smile. She took a drink of it and decided after a moment that she liked the taste of it. "Tasty" she said and took another small drink of it.

Darin nodded to the waiter, agreeing that it was excellent. After he left, he looked over the angel and smiled. "So, what do you think of the mortals so far?" he asked, raising a brow as he drunk from his glass.

Lynn thought about it for a moment before responding. "Well, some I believe are great. Others shouldn't be allowed to exist in the first place. Some seem obnoxious and rude. Most are very easy to read and haven't gotten very far from their ancestors, the cave men." she said simply. She thought that if humans didn't have all this technology, they'd all be dead already.

"Heh, that's one thing that's giving me some sort of pity on the souls I take. The wicked ones, anyway. Most beg for their lives...when they don't even deserve it." Darin muttered as he drank more of his glass. That's the one thorn in his side: pity. "How long have you been an angel anyway?"

"Hmm.. Not for very long. Maybe 100 years? And that isn't very long for an angel. I just got out of the basic training, really." she admitted. Most of the other angels have been around for a couple thousand years. She had been around long enough to learn the basics and come down to get a little experience.

"Heh, so you know a lot about us 'bad' demons, hm?" Darin said, finding a loop hole to her little logic. She thought that her lord was so mighty and gracious. Well, he soon would tear that down. "Just to tell you a smidge of truth amidst all these lies in your head, we demons were angels once." he whispered in her ear.

Lynn paused for a moment. She hadn't been told that part. "Well, I haven't heard that yet. Maybe they just haven't gotten to that part in teaching me. Like I said, I'm pretty new. Either that or you are lying to me about once being an angel." She said, her eyes narrowing at him. "I know you're a demon, but you have no need to lie to me. But then, it must just be an impulse to do so by now..."

Darin grunted. "He was human once too, my dear. We all were. He has his faults but can hide them pretty well in his high and mighty appearance so many here on earth pretend for him to be." he said, looking away with pain in his eyes. He had worshiped his lord and the ground that he walked upon. That, was no joke.

Lynn thought about that. She wasn't sure whether she could trust Darin enough to believe him or not. All her time being an angel she had been taught about how bad demons were, and how great god is. For a moment, she decided she'd give him the benefit of the doubt. That was, of course, just her nature, forgiving and fogetting and giving people chances. "Okay, say I believe you. Why are you telling me this?" she questioned lightly.

Darin sighed, rolling his eyes. "It's up to you to decide, I'm only giving you facts." he said as he ordered a beer and chugged it down. restaurant or not, he was now thirsty. "Don't you ever wonder whether he has the same faults or flaws as a mortal?" he asked in a low voice.

"Sometimes" she admitted. Otherwise she figured he wouldn't have been able to dream up a human to make. If he was without flaw, how could he possibly want to make something that had so many flaws?

"Well, then you must know that I wouldn't make up something this crazy.." Darrin said, looking over the angel and sighing. It was so much more complicated than that. But of course, he couldn't explain it himself, either. It was ridiculous to say the least.

"Yeah, you probably wouldn't." she agreed, though in truth she didn't know him well enough to decide if he'd do such a thing. So she decided she would believe him for now, until she heard otherwise from either god or one of the other angels. For a moment she thought God may not tell the truth about it, but then decided God always told the truth.
