A Midnight Breed Rp

" Let me go to talk to Iris.." he said.

Diz nodded. "Try to get some sleep before we leave tonight."

" yeah, everyone get some rest." he said gently.

All the warriors nodded and went to go to their rooms.

When she was sure he was asleep, Iris gently laid Nicky down in his crib and covered him up with his little blanket, softly stroking his hair as she waited for Dameon to get back.

Dameon didn't have the heart to tell her he would be away for a possible...one last time trip.

Iris felt something bad was coming. She bit her lip, trying to calm herself down. Telling herself that she was imagining things. That, no matter what happened to her or Dameon, that Nicky would stay healthy and safe and grow up to be a great warrior like his dad.

Dameon just was having a hard time putting what he needed to say in softer words.

She wished he'd hurry before she lost it and woke Nicky up after she just put him down.

"I gotta leave tonight" he said gently.

She looked up at him. "But something's different... Tonight's not a normal patrol," she murmured, knowing it was true somehow.

Dameon knew he couldn't keep it from her because she already knew. He nodded his head gently.

"Please tell me," she whispered, not trusting her voice.

" I don't know if I can sugar coat it." he said softly.

"Then don't," she murmured. "Tell me what's going on, Dameon, please."

" It's war. tonight we're going to use minions to try to fight the rogues." Dameon said gently.

She knew things had to be bad if the Order was using Minions. That was like killing innocents, only taking away their soul, in a way.

Iris wrapped her arms around him. "Just make sure you come home in one whole piece... Do you need more of my blood," she asked, looking up at him. She was scared for him. For all of them.

" I should take some before I leave" he said gently. He knew he would give her some as well. He knew they would end up in bed for a while but it was almost like saying goodbye forever in the sense he didn't know if he would live.

She nodded. "Take as much as you need," she murmured, looking up at him and kissing him softly.

" I love you" he said gently kissing her back.

She clung to him, her arms around his neck. She didn't want to let him go, though she knew she'd have to when the sun set.

Dameon held onto her stroking her hair. It was very hard on both of them.

Though she didn't want him to go, Ira knew that he felt he had to. She knew that trying to stop him would be useless and probably do more harm than good. Tears leaked from her eyes as she kissed him, trying to let him know exactly how much she loved him.

It was breaking his heart that he knew her sadness came from the fact that he was leaving to go into very dangerous warfare. " It's my duty to and fight I am the leader...and I want to make a safe city for our baby to grow up in" he said gently.
