Crystal chuckled. "It's instinctive. Hold him," she smiled. "You'll see." Iris smiled and gently lifted Nick for Dameon to hold.

He held Nicky so he didn't drop him.

Nicky looked at him and smiled knowing just who he was. He was the person who rubbed his mommy's belly and made him feel even safer.

Dameon smiled and just held him close and rocked him gently. " hey little man" he said. Dameon never thought he would ever feel this sort of emotion. This was thier son.

Nicky cuddled close to Dameon's chest and cooed contently.

"All kids grow up too fast," Iris pointed out with a weary smile.

"He'll grow up like any human boy," Crystal said, still cleaning up. "Only he'll drink blood instead of eat food."

Iris smiled and let her eyes close, falling asleep from the exhaustion of giving birth naturally.

Iris woke up a few hours later, groggy. She got up out of the hospital bed and wrapped a blanket around herself, walking slowly back to her and Dameon's room to take a nice, long bath and get into some clothes.

Iris smiled softly at her two men and kissed them both softly on their foreheads before she headed to the bathroom.

She started up the bath and slipped into the hot water once it was full, sighing in contentment as the heat soaked soaked to her bones.

Iris washed her hair and body, then rinsed and got out, changing into a large t-shirt and sliding into bed.

Iris gently put her finger in Nicky's mouth so he could feed. "Daddy needs his sleep," she whispered to him.
