Luke all but grabbed Dameon and shoved him out of the car. "Your woman needs you more than we do. Go."

Dameon fell out and grumbled and ran off to her./

Iris laid in the infirmary bed, wincing at the contractions and breathing the way she was supposed to.

" Iris" he said softly entering the room

"Hey," she smiled, trying to hide a wince as a stronger contraction came.

" I'm here now" he took her hand gently.

She smiled and squeezed his hand gently. "You didn't have to come... But thank you," she said, happy he was there.

{fast forward a few hours, to when the baby's born?}

"I wanted to be" he said gently.

( yeah)

"Here he is," Crystal smiled at Iris, handing her son to her. Iris smiled wearily, taking her boy in her arms. "Hi, there," she murmured, happy to see him.

" Ommm" the little boy cooed at her happily.

Iris smiled and gave him her finger to drink from. "What should we call him," she asked Dameon.

" I dunno what do you like?" he said.

"I dunno," Iris thought, watching their boy drink from her. "Hmm... How about... Nick?"

" I like that" he said gently.

She smiled. "Little Nick," she murmured.

" He's so cute" he smiled softly

"He is," she smiled, agreeing wholeheartedly.

He cooed softly and closed his eyes sleepily.

Iris smiled and slowly pulled her finger out of his mouth, rocking him slowly.

" Myuuuuu" He gurgled loudly at her. He was going to be very vocal.

She chuckled softly and replaced her finger in his mouth for him to suckle on as she rocked him slowly.

"What will he eat" he said

"Blood, like you do," Diz told him. "Either yours, hers, or both."

" O-Oh" he said blinking.

Iris looked up at Dameon curiously, wondering why he'd had that reaction.
