He grunted as he laid her on the bed.

Iris laid still on the bed, curled up close to him on her side as she slept off the exhaustion and blood loss. Her lips were curved up into a tired smile as she dozed peacefully against him.

He watched her sleep as he scolded himself.

She woke up a few hours later, still groggy and light-headed, but other than that, she was perfectly fine.

What he couldn't understand was why he didn't feel any different. He didn't feel rogueish or anything though he did feel more attracted to her.

Iris yawned and opened her eyes slowly. "Hey," she murmured sleepily.

" Hey" he said gently and kissed her cheek.

She smiled softly, closing her eyes, resting against the pillow. "Hmm," she murmured. It wasn't a thinking noise, it was a relaxing noise. (If that makes any sense >> "What time is it," she asked softly, opening her eyes again.

" Its 2 in the afternoon" He replied stretching out under the sheets that covered thier nudity.

"Wow, I really slept in, didn't I," she yawned. "Hmm... I feel like I need a bath," she mumbled, idly wondering if it was safe since he'd drunk her blood twice.

" It wasn't that long" he said gently.

"You must be bored out of your mind," she said, looking up at him. "I'm sorry, I'm not a very good hostess."

" Nah. You're a very good hostess" he smiled.

She smiled back. "Really? You've gotta be bored with me here, just sleeping away like nothing else matters."

" Nahh" he smiled

She smiled and kissed his cheek. Despite the odd circumstances, she was happy.

He liked seeing her happy./

"So, what do you want to do," she asked him, trying to be a more gracious hostess.

" Hm well what do you like to do?" he asked.

She thought a moment. "Taking pictures, baths, reading, listening to music, relaxing," she listed off and looked at him. "What about you?"

" Well I hunt rogues" he said

"Rogues are... those bad vampires," she asked, making sure she understood what he meant.

" Yes" He nodded.

"Do you hunt them alone," she asked, a little worried at the thought.

" Yes, " he nodded his head stretching out on her bed.
