"We could go out and buy a few pregnancy tests," Crystal nodded.

" do those even work on vampires? And how long is the pregnancy?" he asked.

"Iris isn't a vampire. But the test will detect the change in her hormones, which will prove if she's pregnant or not," Crystal explained.

" B ut she's having a vampire" he said.

"Technically... You're half human. If she is pregnant, then the baby will be half human as well." Crystal said.

Sam nodded. "Just a little human baby with color-changing glyphs and little fangs. The baby won't hurt her. If it did, there wouldn't be any Breedmates to raise the Breed offspring," she pointed out.

" That's true" he said softly.

Iris stayed frozen, looking calm. She swallowed.

Dameon hugged her gently

She hugged him, not sure how he felt about all this.

" Should I go and get the tests for you" he asked softly.

"I don't care... But can someone please get them," she asked in a whisper.

"I'll go," Sam offered and went to get her shoes.

Dameon hugged her close.

Iris hugged him tighter, burrying her face in his chest.

"Are you ok" he asked softly

She nodded. "...Do you want a baby," she asked in a whisper.

"Of course, do you?" he a sked

"You do," she asked, looking up at him. "Really? I... I wouldn't mind one," she murmured truthfully.

" I think we would be good parents" he said gently

Iris nodded a small smile appearing on her face. "I think we would be, too," she murmured.

He kissed her cheek gently

She smiled at him softly.

" want me to h old you" he asked.

"Please do," she whispered, still a little scared to raise a baby in the middle of a war like this.

He opened his arms for her.

She walked into his embrace and hugged him as he held her.

A few minutes later, Sam walked back in with a small brown bag. "I got three," she informed them.
