She let her eyes close, and deepened the kiss. It was a miracle. The one time that she had decided to stand up for herself, and something good had come out of it. This was a sign. Her and Harry really were meant to be together.

Mary Anne wasn't sure which month she had conceived. The month before, or now. Thinking it over in her mind she finally answered, "Either in August or September." she said softly, smiling gently into his eyes.

"Yes." Mary Anne said softly, nodding her head. As much as this seemed like a fairytale, she knew that the first year wouldn't be easy for them. Harry needed to be debuted into Society, and they would have to eventually find a new home to live in. While she would eventually inherit her family's estate, it still currently belonged to her mother and father.

Mary Anne believed in their love. Soon they would be together in their own home with their baby. She gently kissed him back, her hands resting around her hips. It felt so good to be close to him. And best of all, they didn't have to hide it anymore.

She blushed gently. "I guess we have." Mary Anne said back, looking down gently at his hands as he placed them over her belly. She sitll couldn't believe that she was pregnant. It wasn't an angry disbelief. It was a happy shock. She was pregnant with their baby, something that had been created with their love.

She laughed. "I was waiting for you to ask." Mary Anne said softly, gently leaning down to place her lips to his throat. He brought something into her life that she couldn't explain. Everything was just different with him around. And she liked it.

A couple of hours later, Mary Anne lay beside him in bed, gently resting her head on his chest. Her eyes closed, and it wasn't long before she had fallen asleep. Everything that was happening in life right now... it was just right. She wasn't worried about what the future held. Instead, she was waiting for it.

Mary Anne knew that Society could be hard and cruel. There wasn't much of a way to explain it. The whole lot of the people in England were just jerks. Especially here in London where people lived off as gossip as if it were some sort of air supply to them.

Then he shouldn't be living in London. People almost literally lived off of gossip. Anyone could see this by the number of gossip rags that people picked up every day in the stead of a proper newspaper.

A soft yawn passed Mary Anne's lips when she awoke the next day. She was surprised that for once the maids did not come to wake her up. But then, now that she was sharing her bedchambers with Harry, she could guess that they had been warned.

Well, if it wasn't something that you were entirely used to, it could be seen as extra alluring. Smiling at seeing his sleeping form, she gently kissed his cheek, and then got up. Grabbing for her sleeping robe, she then walked out of the room to alert that maids that she was up.

After letting the servants know that she was awake, they promptly started to have water boil for her bath. Yawning quietly to herself, she walked back into her room and laid beside Harry, watching as he slept. He was so handsome. She was the luckiest girl in the world to get to be with him.
