Alex nodded once more, though he'd hate to have her force herself to cry. As he walked into the infirmary, he stopped, looking worried. "Ma'am, this is my sister and I need to get her home. Can I call our dad?" he asked the nurse who looked at the two oddly. "Sure..." she said, handing them over the phone from it's mount.

Sami limped over to one of the chairs and brought her good leg up to her chest and rested her head on her knee. She let a few tears fall, amazed that she was putting on such a good show.

Calling their father and getting permission, he looked at the nurse. "We can leave. I also have a car so, yeah. Here's my license." Alex said, showing his driver's license and fully fooling the nurse. Helping Sami out and telling her to calm down, they left the school. "You want me to carry you?" he asked.

She wiped her eyes and smiled at him. "No, it's okay. It's really not that bad. It hurts, yeah, but, I can still walk." she said, slipping her hand into his.

"Ok, well I guess we'll take the bus. Hopefully it's not too crowded." Alex said as he went to the nearest bus stop that took them to their street. Paying the toll for both of them, he sat in one of the seats with Sami next to the window. He didn't want anyone to bump into her. "We're finally alone.." he mumbled, smiling a bit and kissing her cheek.

She smiled, scooting closer to him and kissing his lips. "So, what are we going to do now that we're alone?"

"What would you like to do? I don't care so long as I'm around you." Alex said, pressing his forehead against Sami's with a chuckle.

She smiled, wrapping a hand around his neck, running her fingers through his hair. "Let's go to the movies. There won't be anyone there because it's the middle of the day."

"The movies? Eh, sure. I guess there are some movies out that are pretty good. Any in mind?" Alex asked, wrapping an arm around Sami's waist.

"9." She said, pulling her head away to look at him. "Can we go see 9?"

((I wanna see that one too XD))

Alex smiled, nodding. "Sure, it looks like a pretty good movie." he said, looking around for the second stop that led to the mall with the theater right beside it.

She smiled, sitting close to him. Once they got to their stop, she got up and limped off the bus. Sighing and smiled at him. "Ready?"

((O_O...D-Didn't....Hadn't they taken the bus to school? *eye twitches*))
"Yeah, it shouldn't be a long walk across the parking lot and to the theater, so let's get going. Hopefully it's not too late for the early showing." Alex said as they started walking across the parking lot.

She smiled, holding his hand. "You think I should text Mike?" She asked, her smile fading a little.

"Sure. Just tell him that Dad picked you up." Alex said, shrugging. Mike was starting to become nothing to him, so long as he still had Sami by his side.

She nodded, taking out her phone and texting Mike. She told him that her ankle hurt to much and she called her dad to pick her up and that she'd call him later. Then, she turned it onto silent and smiled over at Alex.

Mike had received the message during class, but decided to let her 'rest'. Alex could only chuckle. "Did you put it on silent?" he asked as they got onto the sidewalk.

She nodded. "I didn't want anyone to bother us."

"I know. And I'm sure no one will." Alex said with a smile as they then got to the stand, asking for two tickets to 9. They were just an hour early. "So, you wanna head inside then?" he asked as he walked towards the doors in the back to get inside.

She nodded. "Can we get some popcorn?" she asked. "And some drinks?"

"Yeah, I got enough for that." Alex said as they walked inside. He went up to the counter, since it was mainly empty for being so early. "One large popcorn please." he ordered, then waiting on Sami to say what she'd like to drink.

"And a Dr. Pepper." She said, smiling and holding Alex's hand.

"And a large Dr. Pepper." Alex said, smiling as he paid for both. Handling both items, they walked to the room in which they were to go in for the movie. "Can you see in the dark? We should probably sit at the bottom row." he said, hoping she wouldn't hurt her ankle even further.

"I like the top... Can you carry me?" she asked, a bright smile on her face.

"Aw, great. Ok, just carry this stuff then." Alex said, handing the popcorn and soda to Sami and then carrying her all the way to the top. Once there, he sat her down gently and plopped beside her.
