She nodded, getting orange chicken and some popstickers, also some house rice.

Soon the food came, Alex digging in. "Sheesh, remember last time. You had a major stomachache!" Charlie warned his son, sighing and eating his calmly.

Sami took a slow bite of her popsticker and then smiled, eating them faster, almost as fast as Alex, but at least she was chewing.

Alex choked, coughing loudly. "Agh, the spice got to me." he mumbled, licking his lips and breathing aloud to keep the heat from burning his tongue. Charlie only blushed. "This can't be my blood.."

Sami chuckled, taking one last bite and leaning back, stuffed. "Well, it's his fault for eating something to hot, to fast."

Alex sighed, nodding and drinking most of his coke. "Whatever, I'm passionate about my favorite foods." he chuckled, finishing. Charlie laughed and finished his, starting on his drink. "Whatever, you need to chew."

"Chewing would be helpful." She agreed, her accent showing a whole bunch right now.

Alex stuck his tongue out. "Yeah, yeah. But I'm done, so no use in telling me now." he said, sighing and patting his stomach.

"Well, maybe if we keep telling you, it'll stick." Sami said, smirking slightly.

Alex laughed. "Oh, and what's that supposed to mean?" he asked, grinning. This was the first in a long time that he ever actually had fun. Charlie was pleased definitely. "Alright guys, let's go home eh? We're stuffed, right?"

Sami smiled, ignoring Alex for the moment and then standing up, streching. "Oh yes. Very stuffed."

Alex stretched out his arms, sighing. "Let's go then. I got a sweater to fix." he said, rolling his eyes and going ahead. Charlie only smiled. "You've really brought out his personality again, Sami. Thanks.."

She smiled at her dad. "He's brought out mine. thank you for picking me to abopt."

"No, thank you for accepting." Charlie said, smiling and patting her back. He then went to the car once paying the bill and started it up. Alex was in the front, grinning. "Shotgun." he said, winking.

Sami smiled, getting into the back seat. "Can we go somewhere else?"

"The mall..perhaps?" Alex mentioned casually and whistling. Charlie only grunted. "Sami?"

Sami brightened at the hopeful promise of shopping. "Can we go shopping?" She asked, looking at Charlie.

Charlie, gulped. Well, he was paid a good sum last week. "Uh, sure. What for?" he asked as he started driving to the mall.

She shrugged. "I don't really have any clothes. Just what I was given from the orphanage."

Charlie nodded. "Ok, then I guess it won't hurt. You're due for new clothes." he said, sighing. He wouldn't know what she liked, so she'd let her loose in JC Penny or something. "Hn, please don't ask me to come with you, that ain't my thing." Alex muttered, shaking his head.

"You're gonna make my shop by myself?" she asked, turning in her seat to look at Alex. She'd be bored if she had to shop by herself.

"Why not ask Dad?" Alex pouted. "I'm gonna be at the Game Stop." he said excitedly. He knew new games came in, so he was happy that the convenience came in his favor and Sami's.

"New games for the Xbox you can't play?" Sami asked, smirking slightly at Alex.

Alex growled, wanting to flick Sami off and give her the finger. Charlie only shook his head. "You can't buy them either, son." he said, sighing. Alex grunted, tapping on the door as they arrived at the mall's parking lot.

Sami gave Alex a look of apology. She mouthed the word sorry then turned back around. He probably didn't want to talk to her for a while now.
