Alex closed his eyes for a moment as they then came to a stop. "Alright, so I'll be at the food court. You guys got an hour." he said, getting out of the car. Alex got out, slamming the door a bit sharply but looking over at Sami, a bare glance as they went inside the mall.

Sami looked at Alex and then at the floor. She really screwed up this time. She thought she was joking, but apparently not. she saw the game stop and them smiled. "I can shop by myself if you wanna go look at stuff." she said. She wanted to buy him a game. Charlie said that Alex couldn't buy a game, he didn't say anything about her buying a game for Alex. She just hoped that he wouldn't go into the Gamestop so that she could pull off her surprise.

Not that she screwed up, but reminded him of his being grounded. Not playing games is like taking away water to a human being. But, he could live. He just need a few minutes to chill. "Eh, sure. I'll just go to BooksAMillion, I guess." he mumbled, heading to the store.

Sami smiled, going into the store. She had a small idea about what he liked, racing games or a game where you get to blow something up. He was a guy and she was able to get a look at his game collection already. She wondered for a little while then finally picked one. A racing game that looked excited and challenging. She bought it then hid it in her purse so that Alex wouldn't see it. She'd bring it to him later that night. She went to Hot Topic, seeing a pain of pants that she liked, she spent the rest of her time in there.

Alex whistled, looking at the random Japanese manga and other merchandise. He was a bit of a nut on Anime and such. Though, in the mean time that Sami took on looking at pants, he got aquainted with a girl. Heck, he even got her number in half an hour that he spent in there! He already was in a good mood as he came out, looking for Sami.

Sami bought some out fits at Hot Topic and was on his way to JCPenny's when she say Alex. She smiled at him and went up to him. "You seem to be in a better mood." She stated.

Alex winked. "Oh yeah, I got a phone number so, I'm good." he grinned, waving the piece of paper and placing it in his pocket. "What did you get?" he asked, looking at the bag.

"Stuff from a store called Hot Topic. I've never been there, I really like it." she smiled. "I was on my way to JCPenny. You wanna come with me or do you want to lave? I can always come back later, maybe when I get a few girl friends or something." She said, trying not to let the fact that he got another girls phone number bother her. She didn't know why it bothered her, but it did.

Alex shrugged. "Ok, I guess I can go with you. Won't be that bad." he smiled, grabbing her bag to hold for her.

She smiled at him. "Thank you." She said and started walking. "So, this girl who gave you her number... What's she look like?" She asked.

Alex raised a brow. "Uh, she's a brunette, petite, pretty much a cute girl. Why?" he asked, wondering why his so-called sister would wonder.

She shrugged. "I'm just wondering. I would like to know what girls you bring over to have sex with." she said, thinking he was the type of guy who would bring girls over to bed while his dad wasn't home.

Alex blushed furiously and blinked. "What? Bring over to have sex with? What do you think I am?" he asked, now a bit confused. So Sami thought he was a jerk and a player?

She looked at him, her eyes wide. "I'm sorry... I thought that's what every guy does..."

"Hell no, I'm not a player, sorry to disappoint you." Alex spat, walking ahead. "Let's just get in and get out, I want to get home, finish the sweater, and take a nap at least. These scratches are driving me insane with how much they sting." he said harshly.

((*Cuddles back* Yeah... my mouth hurts more than it did yesterday... But, it's getting better.))


Sami sighed. She'd made him mad... She walked with him, hopeing that the present she had in her purse would cheer him up again later.

It seemed that most of the work into having him loosen up was starting to backfire. Joshua didn't know whether now he could really be himself much around Sami. As they walked into the other store for clothes, he sighed. "Ok, go get your stuff, I'll wait by the entrance." he said, leaning against the wall.

((Since monday. I had a stitch fall out yesterday which I guess might be a good thing. But, it still really hurts))


Sami sighed, knowing he was back into his shell. She'd worked so hard to get him out, to get him to be himself only to have ruined it by calling him a player. She walked off, getting some cute looking pants in her size, not bothering to try them on. She found some shirts and a new sweater. She would have had fun if Alex wasn't in the back of her head the whole time.

Alex sighed, looking around at other stores as he still stayed by the entrance. He just wondered why Sami would care what a girl looked like. Better yet, why would she think that he was after what was between a girl's legs? "Sheesh, she doesn't know sh*t." he cursed, rolling his eyes.

Sami bought the clothes she wanted, some of it good for another night at a club. She soon went back over to Alex, a small smile on her face. "Alex... I'm sorry that I insulted you. I haven't been around boys my age in a long time. All I know is what I read in books. Please accept my apology."

Alex stared back at Sami, losing some of his glare. "Agh....It's fine. Just, don't do it again. Let's go, ok?" he said, smiling for a brief moment and turning around. He then started heading to the food court, thinking on some things. Charlie waved to them, standing up from his seat.

Sami waved back at him, a small smile on her face. She was still upset, but, was good at hiding it. If Alex was good at hiding his feelings then Charlie would never know about their little fight.

Alex yawned as they were going back home. "So, Sami, did you get good clothes?" Charlie asked, smiling. He was good at hiding his feelings, so, their dad will never know. Well, at least right then and there.

Sami nodded. "I did. Some things at Hot Topic and then some things at JBPenny's. I had fun." she smiled.

"Good. Well then, you guys can go on inside and go nuts. Though Alex, you still have to finish that sweater." Charlie said as he got into the garage of their home. Alex got out, nodding and agreeing as he headed upstairs to his room quietly.
