She kissed him back and nodded. "I like him, yes, but not as much as i like you."

Alex stared. "Well, then maybe you should break up with him? What do you think?" he asked, holding her hand.

"If people see me break up with him and then hang out more with you, they might figure out the truth." she said, lacing her fingers with his. "We do want this to be a secret, right?"

"Yeah....Agh, I guess I'll stick with Natalie, too. She's not too bad of company. But, let's not let our jealousy get the best of us, ok?" Alex reminded, kissing Sami's forehead.

She nodded softly, closing her eyes as he kissed her forehead. "I'll go on as if nothing happened tonight. Don't get upset when I'm kissing mike, you're the one I want to be kissing."

Alex sighed, shaking his head. "Yeah...ok. One more kiss before I head off to shower and go to bed?" he asked, smiling sheepishly as he kissed Sami one last time for the night.

She wrapped her arms around him and held him close as she kissed him back. "Wake me up tomorrow for school?" She asked when she pulled away.

Alex nodded, smiling. "Of course. Why wouldn't I? Just make sure not to strain your ankle any more than necessary." he said, hugging her tightly and leaving the room. The next day as they arrived to school, obviously Mike would be there waiting for Sami, hugging her and kissing her upon arrival.

Sami sent a sorrowful look over at Alex before smiling and kissing Mike back. She hugged him and burried her head in his shoulder. "I missed you." she mumbled to Mike.

Alex grunted to himself, sighing. Mike however only smiled, nuzzling Sami's neck. "I missed you too." he said softly, kissing her cheek and then her lips. "See ya in class, Sami." Alex said as he walked past them and into the school.

She nodded. "alright." She said to Alex then smiled at Mike. "Look." she said, bending down and hiking up her pant leg to show off a still swollen ankle. It had an ace bandage around it that Alex did for her that morning.

Mike frowned. "You act as if it's a nice thing. But, I guess I'm glad that it's not as swollen as it can be. Does it hurt?" he asked, kissing her forehead.

"Yes! A lot!" she said, nodding.

"Then why are you here at school? You should be at home resting.." Mike said, shaking his head and sighing.

"Because it's boring at school." She said simply. "And, I would be giving up a chance for you to dote upon me." She smiled.

"Wow, ok. I guess you had a good point." Mike laughed, holding her hand and walking inside.

She limped next to him, walking normally as best she could. she really didn't want to miss school. It was boring at home all by herself.

As they bid goodbye and went their separate ways, Alex stared at the door. He was waiting on Sami, though feeling his heart swell. He knew it had to be this way, but if it didn't, he would've taken her hand already.

Sami looked over at Alex and smiled slightly. They needed some sort of sign to tell each other that they missed the other one. Touching their ear or something.

Alex smiled back slightly as well, looking back at his notebook and sighing. He just felt like dirt at that moment. Still, he knew it was needed. As class went on, he glanced at Sami more than once, then looking away as she looked back at him.

Sami looked back at him when he felt his eyes on her. She was falling hard for him now that they were 'together'. She wanted to kiss him.

After class, Alex walked up to Sami, smiling. "Hey, uh, why don't we just skip class and school all together?" he said quietly as they left the class room.

"Make the excuse that my ankle hurts to much and we left." she said, thinking of mike.

Alex nodded. "So, off to the infirmary? I got my driver's license but uh, I think if you put on a good act we won't need to even show it off. Just call dad." he shrugged as he turned around and helped her walk back to the infirmary.

She nodded, walking with him. "A good act as in crying and stuff?" She asked. She could do it, it hurt a lot and she could cry if she really wanted to.
