It's a Love Story

"I'd do it for you anytime." she smiled.

He smiled. "Let us hope you won't have to again," he chuckled.

She nodded, nuzzling into him. "I don't want anymore bad things."

"We get to go home tomorrow," he held her close. "Tonight at the earliest."

"And you're coming with us, right?" she asked, looking at him.

"If no one will mind," he looked down at her.

"I don't think they will." she said softly.

"We don't mind," Mike smiled. "It's not like we don't have the room," he chuckled.

"See." Roman smiled slightly.

"I would very much appreciate it," Dante half-smiled. He was still down about his mom.

Roman cuddled closer, knowing he was still upset. "Everything will be okay. It has to be."

"I know it will. I still have you," he murmured, holding her closer.

"You'll always have me." She said.

He smiled softly and kissed her forehead. "I love you," he whispered.

She smiled. "I love you, too."

Once they were all set to go home the next day, Aiden and Ren were given a wheelchair and a pair of crutches each for their broken legs and rolled out to the car. Mike drove everyone home and helped them get up to their rooms so they could settle in. "I'll be working on dinner. If you guys need anything, don't be afraid to call for us," he told all the kids. He was letting Aiden stay in the room next to Rose's until his leg was healed, at the very least.

Mike looked down at his map, feeling all sorts of out of place in this big city. He lived in the country with his parents and was on a class field trip to New York. He had a crush on this girl he met online, though he was nervous to meet her in person. She said to meet up at the coffee shop... Which one? There were tons here. He sighed, lost and confused. He recalled the name and asked someone where he could find it. It was right around the corner. He thanked the older lady for the directions and headed there, walking in.

Lilli was standing in line for coffee but eargly looking for Mike. She really liked him and wanted to get to him better through a media that wasn't online. When she saw him and almost jumbed out of line she was so happy. He was even cuter than the pictures he'd sent her. She waved at him, a huge smile on her face.
