It's a Love Story

Ren nodded and looked back down at the one she loved.

Lilli hugged her, rubbing her arm. "You'll all be home soon." She said softly.

Ren nodded. "Thank you," she whispered and hugged her back.

Lilli nodded, holding her close. "You're welcome."

Ren smiled and laid back down next to Jon, holding onto his hand.

in his sleep, Jon held onto her hand tightly, liking the feeling of her being there.

"I love you, Jon," Ren whispered softly to him.

Lilli smiled slightly and went to Mike who was hugging Rosie. "They're all okay." she said softly.

"I told you they would be, love," Mike smiled, hugging his wife.

"Yeah... well..." she shrugged. "I want to stay here tonight." she told him, looking up at him.

"I'll go tell the nurse," he kissed his wife lovingly and left to tell the nurse. Only one of them would be able to spend the night, however. He would let Lilli stay. "Babe, I gotta go home and get something. I'll be right back," he kissed his wife and left for home to get his guitar.

Lilli nodded and took a seat in one of the chairs, getting as comfortable as she could, waiting for Mike to come back.

Mike came back in with his guitar, smiling. "How about some music," he asked. Rose smiled at her dad. He knew just how to make her feel at home.

Lilli smiled. "I love you." she said to him softly.

"I love you, too," he kissed her and began strumming a warm, comforting tune.

Lilli smiled and after a while, she got up, kissed Mike then left, going to the lady behind the counter. She apoplogized then asked how long her kids would have to stay there.

The lady behind the counter nodded. "I understand, honey. They'll be in here for two days and be sent home with wheelchairs. Ren and Aiden will. We're just watching over them for any major trauma damage done," she explained.

"Two days." she sighed. "Alright. Thank you." she said then left, going back to the room.

Mike was strumming still, playing softly until everyone was asleep and comfortable.

"They have to be here for two days." she said softly, sitting down next to him.

"I'll be here all the while," he smiled, still strumming.

She smiled, leaning over and kissing him softly. "I love you."

"I love you, too, honey," he kissed her softly. He played their song softly, smiling at her all the while.

She smiled back at him, watching him.

He smiled as the song ended, all the kids being asleep. He kissed his wife lovingly.
