He smiled and pulled her close, kissing her more passionately with every passing moment. It seemed a never-ending kiss and he didn't want it to stop.

They had barley slept all night and Amy could see the stars dimming. A signal that the sun was coming. It hadn't yet and the sky was still dark but she could tell they would have to separate soon. She moved her naked body closer to his and sighed. "You have to leave soon."

He opened his eyes and looked up at the sky, holding her close. "I wish we were married already," he yawned. He was exhausted from the day before, now he wanted nothing more than to sleep. With her in his bed with him, of course. "I will have to endure a month of planning now... I will send the seamstress to your home today. Her name is Abigail." He kissed her softly and began to get up, pulling his clothes on.

Amy stayed where she was, watching him, pulling her cape up to cover herself. "Will I get to see you tonight?" she asked.

"I'm not sure," he admitted. "I will try my best to meet you tonight and every night until the ball, but I can't promise I will make it," he looked down at her a bit sadly.

He watched her dress patiently and took her hand when she finished. "Let us go home," he kissed her hand.
