"I will miss you, my Duke." she said softly to him before he left.

"And I, you," he whispered and slinked away back into the church.

Later, after all of his appointments were done, he managed to sneak out once everyone was asleep, even tho he, himself, was exhausted. He went to the hole in the wall, waiting for her.

Amy showed up not to long after him with a dark cape over her shoulders. She smiled at him and hugged him.

Andrew hugged her back. "Let's go," he whispered, pulling her through the hole in the wall before the guards could find them.

She followed, smiling and holding his hand. "Where are we going?" she whispered.

"I want to see the moon with you," he smiled, pulling her out of the hole in the city's wall and running with her towards the moon.

She smiled, running with him only until the lights of the city could not reach them. She stopped and pulled him to a stop, hugging him. "I've never been so happy."

He smiled and hugged her back. "Nor have I," he said honestly. He looked up at the full moon and smiled down at her. She was beautiful in the moonlight, her eyes were more blue than sapphires. They entranced him.

She smiled up at him. "Why haven't you kissed me yet?" She asked.

He chuckled. "I was trying to be polite about it, and wait for the right moment," he explained gently, stroking her cheek gently with his knuckles.

Her smile was gentle as she looked at him. "Now seems like the right moment."

"So it is," he whispered and kissed her softly under the full moon, it's light shining brightly down upon them.

Her arms wrapped around his neck and she kissed him back, closing her eyes to make the moment better.

His arms wrapped around her, holding her closer as he kissed her tenderly.

She slowly pulled away and looked up at him. "Do I really get to marry you?" she asked.

He smiled and stroked her cheek. "Yes. The woman I choose won't have to be rich or royal. The only requirement is that she has blue eyes that shine brighter than sapphires in the moonlight."

She smiled. "Luckily mine do."

"The only maiden with eyes like that, as far as I know," he smiled and kissed her softly.

"This is crazy. I barley know you and yet I want to marry you." she smiled.

He chuckled. "And I, you," he stroked her cheek.

She beamed happines and stepped away from him, spinning so her dress spun in the night. "Will I make a good duchess?"

"You will," he confirmed, smiling happily at her. "The best leaders know what it is like to be struggling to make ends meet. They consider everything before making a decision."

"But you don't know what it's like to struggle." she said, looking at him. "Does this mean you're going to be one of those men who listen to their wives?"

"Since you will be my wife, yes," he smiled. "I will learn from you."

She smiled happily and went to hug him again. "Good."
