Amy let her head rest on his shoulder as she held onto him. "I love you," she whispered.

"I love you, too," Andrew whispered back to her and kissed her forehead. The maids politely stood out of his way and opened doors for him as he passed them. They murmured blessings and prayers for Amy as they passed, as well. Andrew thanked each and every one of them and laid Amy down on the bed once they finally reached the bedroom. "What would you like, love," he asked her. The cart of food was still there.

"Not that. I want good food. That best that chef can make." she said, smiling slightly though looking extreamly tired.

"You've wasted most of your energy arguing with Ashley," he told her gently. "You need easy-to-eat food for now, sweetheart," he stroked her cheek.

"Well then the best easy to eat food he can make." she said softly.

"Alright," he kissed her softly and went to tell the maids. He also asked one to help bath Amy so she felt cleaner and more relaxed. Also to redo her bandages.

When Andrew came back, Amy was already asleep though her hands were over her stomach. As she was walking she tore the stitches that were put in and didn't want Andrew to know but couldn't hide it once she was sleeping.

Andrew watched as the maids went to get hot water and clean towlettes to clean Amy while she slept. He watched them re-do the bandages, but having to call the medic to fix her stitches. He scolded the duke for letting her walk before he re-did her stitches and bandages (the maids covered her bust, of course). He left, leaving a bottle of ale for the pain and recommending she not be moved from the bed.

The maids washed her with the warm water on the damp cloth and very gently re-clothed her in a looser, more comfortable dress.

Amy woke up much later feeling a little better but having her belly throbbing with pain.

"How are you feeling love," he asked her softly, kissing her forehead.

"It hurts." she mumbled, pain in her voice.

"The doctor left some ale for you. Do you want it," he asked, stroking her hair gently.

She nodded, letting him take care of her.

Andrew gave her some of the ale, sitting in the bed beside her.

Amy drank what he gave her then sighed. "I'm really hungry." she told him.

"Alright, love. I'll go tell the chef. His best, right?"

she nodded. "His best."

"Alright," he told the maids to get the chef to make the best he had available. They nodded and hurried off to complete their task. Soon, three carts of food was brought it with delicious food.

Amy smiled. "Smells delicious."

"How about a little bit of everything, love?"

She nodded happily, her stomach already growling.

He chuckled and handed her a plate from the first cart, stealing a niblette here and there.

Amy ate hungrily then eventually sat back. "I've never had food that good."

He chuckled. "You will from now on, love," he smiled at her.

She smiled. "thank you."
