"Excellent." Victor said, smiling up at Vinny. With all of the formalities finished he got up from his desk and lead Vinny out of his office. Hailing a taxi cab the two were soon off to his house, a nice enough house for Italian immigrants at the time. Walking into the apartment he greeted his wife who was already over at the stove. Pressing a kiss to her forehead the two broke off into a small tangent of sweet nothings (all in Italian) before he remembered his guest and introduced Vinny to his wife.

Vinny bowed, " Good evening, Madame. Your home is goreous and your food smells the best I've smelled in the longest of times." he said in a very respectfully, " it is a great honor to meet the wife of such a great man. As the saying goes behind every great man is a great woman." He kissed her hand very lightly and bowed his head and smiled brightly.

Francesca Delvecchio smiled, impressed with the kindness of the newest member of Victor's mafia. "Any friend of Victor's is a friend of mine," she grinned, "Especially one with such a good taste." Ushering the two men into the dining room she left them with drinks while she finished dinner. Soon the front door opened and the sound of heels clicking against the hardwood floor could be hard. Angelina was back after an unsuccessful attempt to get into a bar.

Vinny was enjoying a very fine wine. Even if it was Prohibition he was trying to crack down on he loved wine. He hated the stupid laws but he had to inforce them it was his job.

Usually Francesca was a very fashionable woman who enjoyed blending in with the current trends, but in the case of the Temprence movement she had not been able to agree with the other women, having grown up respecting wine. Everyday she used wine in most of her cooking and had been taught from childhood how to drink properly. She couldn't wrap her brain around how it was dangerous.

Taking off her shoes Angelina put on her slippers and then tied her hair back, meeting her mother in the kitchen. Her mother informed her that they had a guest over for dinner and she quickly took a peek and saw that it was the man from before. She looked over at him from, sticking her head out from the doorway and waved at him quietly before moving back into the kitchen to help cook dinner.

Vinny gave a very kind smile and bowed his head in respect to the Boss' daughter. She we simply breaktaking.

"Sir, you have a very beautiful daughter. you must be so proud" Vinny smiled. " I am enjoying your hospitality emensely. Everything is wonderful in your home"

Victor laughed softly as he watched his daughter quickly move back into the kitchen after being scolded by her mother in strict Sicilian dialect. She was his pride and joy, mostly because she was his only child. It seemed lime an enigma to most people who knew him that his wife was only able to bear one child, many believing that as Italian's they were breeding machines, second only to the Irish immigrants. "She is, isn't she?" he asked, chuckling and then taking a sip of wine. "Don't grow too fond of her. She's Daddy's little girl and I'll do anything to protect her." He didn't approve of his daugther's wishes to become a stereotypical flapper and had bribed several speak easy owners and bouncers to watch after his little girl and make sure that any men trying to get some tail stayed far away from her.

" Oh no sir. I do not like to bring the affairs of the heart into such buisness. It makes everything harder. Besides I'm not interested in a relationship right now." Vinny said very smoothly. " I was just admiring her. No intentions."

Victor laughed and then nodded his head. "You're damn right that you weren't planning on trying anything!" He refilled Vinny's glass nearly to the top with more sparkeling wine until Angelina came out with a small tray of munchies.

"An old family secret." she said, winking at Vinny. Giggling, she walked back into the kitchen, finishing off dinner with her mother. She was a bit of a coquettish girl, though sometimes it was more forced than natural. Luckily right then it seemed more natural. Eventually dinner was finished being prepared and they all sat down to eat.

" This looks delicious." He smiled looking at all the yummy food.

"Grazie!" Angelina giggled, seating down next to him at the table. Her father raised her brow, knowing that his daughter was flirting with Vinny and was thankful that he had already told Vinny that he daughter was hands off. After saying Grace the room dissolved into the sounds of plates moving as food was given and then a soft hymn of appreciative sounds over the cooking.

Vinny was enjoying himself more then he should've but sometimes getting in character took over one's mind. Now and then he would glance over to the daughter, stealing slight glances thinking how long it has been since he had a woman in bed but he pushed the notion far from his mind each time. Of course these small glances were covered up by asking for salt , pepper, or more wine. He made it look innocent.

It was pretty ironic that the one thing that Angelina had wanted ever since she had started puberty (which was to catch the eye of a boy) was happening right under her nose and she didn't even notice it. She played the part of the hostess well, handing him the salt and pepper and topping him up when he needed more wine in his glass.

Vinny knew he couldn't do much more then steal little glances.

It was as Angelina was pouring him his second glass of wine that the first accident of the night happened; she ended up spilling wine on him. "Oh, my!" she cried, flying up from her seat right away and going at his shirt with one of the napkins. "I'm so sorry!" Her mother was up in a graceful motion and had the napkin out of her daughters hand and gently chided her. "Now, now. No need to make a fuss. Go take Vinny to get cleaned up. Get him a new shirt. Don't be such a silly girl." Sighing softly, Angelina nodded her head and took Vinny's hand, leading him upstairs.

"It's ok don't fel bad." Vinny said walking with her.

All that Angelina was thinking was that it was the end of any flirting. Men hardly seemed to be attracted to women who spilled things or were clutzy in general. Nodding her head, she sighed softly and then lead him to the bathroom. "Feel free to take a bath. I'll go and get one of Papa's shirts for you to wear, he's only just a little bit bigger than your size, I'm sure."

He undressed noticing how 'excited' he was. he shook his head, it had been a while sincehe had a woman.

Angelina returned a few minutes later and knocked at the door. "Vinny?" she asked, standing outside the door. "Are you decent? I have a shirt for you and I'll be taking your other shirt to clean." As much as she wanted to flirt with boys at the same time she didn't want to walk in and accidently see more in five seconds than she'd ever seen in a science journal at school.

"uhhh im in the water......" he said.

"Just close the curtain, silly!" she laughed, as if it was perfectly normal for her to go into the bathroom when he was bathing. "If the curtain is closed than I won't see your body and you won't see me!" Angelina waited paitnelty for him to do as she suggested and then walked into the bathroom. "I'm putting the shirt right on the hamper." she said, placing the shirt down. She briefly tidied up the bathroom, humming to herself and then left. A little womanly touch never hurt.

He felt slightly uncomfortable but at least the situation didn't turn awekward.

She hadn't stuck around too long in the bathroom, she'd simply adjusted a few of the towels and folded his clothes before leaving. Back downstairs her parents were going on in Italian, though they stopped abruptly when she entered the room. Raising a brow, she sighed softly and then took a seat the table. As much as she wanted to mouth off and ask them what they had been talking about she had been raised to always respect her parents. Old habits died hard.

He cleaned up and had joined them downstairs. " Thank you for the change of clothes."

"It is no problem at all. I am sorry that your shirt was stained." Francesa said in reply, briefly glaring at Angelina who seemed to shrivel up underneath her mother's gaze. Laughing she got to her feet to get them dinner with her daughter following behind, not wanting to make anymore mistakes for the night.

Victor chuckled to himself. "I certainly don't need to worry about you having any designs on my daughter now. No man wants a woman who's always spilling valuable wine all over him."
