Baily smiled happily, going to the edge of the pool and looking up at her mate. "We're going home?" she asked.

"But we are home," Ryder said, confused.

Damon smiled. "We're going to America," he confirmed, smiling lovingly at his mate. "Niko and I swept the entire country and the ancient is nowhere to be found. We'll be safe there."

Baily smiled and pulled Damon's shirt for him to come down. She kissed him passionately. "I love you."

He kissed her back, stroking her cheek. "I love you, too, sweetheart," he smiled lovingly at her.

Baily smiled evily and wrapped her arms around Damon's neck, pulling him into the pool.

Damon yelled in surprise and surfaced, shaking the water out of his hair. "Thank you, Baily... Now my guns are ruined," he pouted, taking his guns out of their holsters, water draining from them.

Baily smiled. "You can get more." she shrugged, wrapping her arms around his neck. "What's more important anyways, your guns or your wife in a bikini?"

"Well... I need my guns to protect my wife who's in a little bikini..," he trailed off, looking down.

She smiled. "You can get more." she said again. It's not like they didn't have the money.

"Get more what," he asked, obviously distracted by her bikini.

She chuckled, running her hands under his wet teeshirt. "More guns."

He smiled, his fangs extending in want for his mate.

"Mommy? How do I stop floating," Ryder asked. "I'm getting all prune-y..." he was at the deep end of the pool now.

Baily's own fangs were growing but she sighed, leaning up to kiss Damon's lips before letting go of him and going to Ryder. "You just put your feet down like you're going to stand." she said. "Then swim back."

Ryder put his feet down and realized there was no ground there and panicked, splashing as he struggled to stay above water.

Damon picked him up out of the water from the side of the pool that he'd appeared on. "You okay, buddy?"

"I don't like swimming," Ryder coughed. 'I got water up my nose..."

"Ryder I'm sorry... I didn't realize it was so deep." Baily apologized, lifting herself out of the pool.

"It's okay, mommy. I didn't know it was deep either," Ryder told her. he didn't like his mom being upset anymore than his dad did.

She stood and looked at her son. "You're sure?"

Ryder smiled at his mom, looking almost exactly like his dad. "I'm sure, Mommy."

She smiled and nodded, kissing his cheek. "Good."

Damon chuckled and kissed his mate. "Let's go start packing. Unless you're hungry."

Baily smirked and bit her lip. "I'm hungry for something." she said though she could really say or do much more than that since Damon was holding Ryder.

Damon chuckled. "What about you, little man? You hungry?"

"Can I have a apple," he asked. Vampire kids did eat human food, as well as drink blood. They'd stop eating as they became fully grown. Though vampire kids did eat human food, it was only the sweet and all-natural things they were able to digest.

"Sure, buddy," Damon chuckled and stood, holding his mate's hand.

"An apple sounds good." Baily smiled then looked at Damon. "I think you have to change though, beloved. You're all wet."

"Who's fault is that," he chuckled.

"Mommy's," Ryder giggled, hiding behind his dad's leg.

Baily smiled. "I thought you wanted to swim." she said innocently.
