"Fwy!" He laughed, flapping his arms.

Baily smiled. "Ryder's flying!"

"Wyda fwy," he giggled.

Baily laughed. "I think he likes flying." She said, looking over at Damon.

Damon smiled and nuzzled his mate. and tickeled their boy, whi squealed and squirmed.

Baily smiled and tickled the boy also before sighing. "I'm hungry."

"I'll go make your pizza," he said, getting up and going to the kitchen.

"I love you, Damon," Baily called after him, smiling.

"I love you, too, Baily," he smiled softly at her.

Baily smiled and turned her attention back to Ryder. "Are you hungry?" she asked, slipping her finger into his little hands.

"Hungwy," he repeated, not sure what it meant. He said it more like a question.

She nodded and kissed his belly and placed her finger on his lips. "Food... Mommy's blood."

"Food. Bwood?" he said, looking at her curiously. He couldn't make the connection. Not yet.

Baily grew her fangs and bit her finger, making it bleed. "Blood." she said softly then put it to his lips. "Food. Blood is food for you."

"Bwood food," Ryder suckled on her finger for a little bit, then licked it.

She smiled and watched as the hole closed. The little guy knew what he was doing when he was drinking her blood and he knew to close her wounds. "You're so smart. I love you." she smiled, holding onto her son.

"Wov oo" he giggled, nuzzling his mommy.

Baily smiled, holding onto him. "Wov oo." she coppied him.

Damon came back in with the pizza, smiling at his mate and their son. "Here's your food, love."

"Food," Ryder giggled.

"I think that I got him to understand that my blood is his food." she smiled.

Damon smiled. "It'll take him a while to completely make the connection. I think he's just repeating what we say for the most part," he chuckled.

She nodded. "Yeah probably." she said then smiled at the pizza. "I love you."

"I love you, too," he leaned down and kissed her.

She smiled, and laid Ryder on the bed, letting him crawl around as she ate the pizza.

Damon smiled and watched their boy crawl around. He sniffed the pizza and tried to touch it, but it was too hot for him. He whined and rolled away. Damon picked him up and licked where he'd burned his hand, healing it.
